During the blacksmith route of the Wedding Crashers quest, find the missing gift sword in the shallow pond east of Semine, then return it to Radovan. The dependable route is to ask Hans Capon about the sword, question Svatya about where he threw it, and search the water by the small stairs.
Check that you’re on the blacksmith route
Radovan’s missing-sword objective is part of Wedding Crashers when Henry attends the wedding through the blacksmith’s questline. If you arrived with the miller instead, the wedding has a different objective. Beebom’s quest guide and The Escapist’s walkthrough describe the sword task as part of Radovan’s route.

Follow the clues to the pond
- Ask Hans Capon about the missing sword. Look in the upper part of the barn or stable behind the dance field, then ask him about the missing gift.
- Question Svatya. He is near a wagon at the edge of the dance field. Ask what happened to the sword. PowerPyx reports the charisma response “Not even the bailiff’s son will escape punishment” as an easy check; dialogue options can depend on Henry’s stats and quest state. PowerPyx’s Wedding Crashers walkthrough gives the dialogue and location details.
- Go through the door near Radovan. It leads toward the pond east of Semine. Search the shallow, walkable edge below the small stairs rather than deeper water.
- Pick up the “Sword for young Lord Semine.” The item is reported at the water’s edge by the stairs. Destructoid’s location guide also points to the pond.
- Return the sword to Radovan. Handing it back advances the wedding quest toward the ceremony.
Can you skip the conversations?
Destructoid reports that you may be able to go straight to the pond and collect the sword after Radovan assigns the objective. Other walkthroughs lay out the Hans-to-Svatya clue route without independently confirming that bypass. If the sword does not appear or the objective does not advance, complete the conversations and return to the shallow water; the shortcut may depend on quest state.
