Natlan’s hidden Teleport Waypoints are tied to quests, puzzles and areas added in different versions. A Version 5.0 guide identifies six main locations, but also mentions two nearby floating-island waypoints and a separate Secret Island of the Firethief point. Those counts do not line up cleanly, and later areas were added after Version 5.0, so the list below is a route guide—not a verified inventory of every hidden waypoint currently in Natlan.
How to check which Natlan waypoints are still missing
Some Teleport Waypoints do not appear on the map until you meet their prerequisites. If a point is absent, check whether its associated quest or puzzle is complete before assuming you have overlooked a visible marker. HoYoverse’s official Genshin Impact Interactive Map includes Natlan and is the best reference for comparing map locations; its available map text does not provide a verifiable written inventory of every current hidden point.
The Version 5.0 locations below come from the HoYoLAB community guide “[V5.0] Руководство по исследованию Натлана,” published August 23, 2024. Its location names were translated from Russian and may not match current English in-game localization exactly. Use nearby landmarks and the quest names to identify them, and check the live map for the current marker labels.
Version 5.0 hidden waypoint route
| Area or landmark | Reported prerequisite or route | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Land of Myriad Megaliths, northwest of Sulfurous Veins | Progress through the “Shadows of the Mountains: Rest in the Sleeping” world-quest series. | The Version 5.0 guide lists this as one of its hidden points. |
| Hall of Parting Vows, west of the Children of Echoes | Progress through “Between Pledge and Forgettance: Revelations from the Past.” | The guide describes two points in this area. Check both markers rather than treating the area as a single waypoint. |
| Pomegranate Roots, southeast of Sulfurous Veins | Follow the “Ready for Trouble” quest route. | The guide associates this location with that quest. |
| Fatui Phlogiston Extraction Research Center, southeast Natlan | Resolve the center’s puzzle. | The guide describes the waypoint as puzzle-gated, rather than giving a specific quest prerequisite. |
| Underground Lava River, beneath the eastern People of the Springs Statue | Progress through “Tale of Dreams Torn From Fire” to reach the underground point. | The same guide says this quest segment opens two additional waypoints on nearby floating islands. It does not make clear how those two fit with its six-point list, so count them separately while checking your map. |
| Secret Island of the Firethief, eastern side of People of the Springs | Reach and discover the island waypoint. | A separate Version 5.0 guide associates this point with a hidden achievement. The available descriptions do not establish whether it is included in the six-point list above. |
A WoW Quests video guide published August 29, 2024, gives a route sequence through the Hall of Parting Vows, Land of Myriad Megaliths, a Toyac Springs underground point, Upper Sanctum, Pomegranate Roots and the Phlogiston Extraction Research Center. Treat those as route landmarks, not proof that the sequence is a complete checklist: the written evidence does not establish a one-to-one match between all those labels and the six points in the HoYoLAB guide.

Check the later Natlan areas separately
Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain arrived after Version 5.0. A Version 5.5 guide published March 26, 2025, covers hidden waypoints in those areas. The Sacred Mountain Guide achievement requires unlocking all 38 waypoints across Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain, according to the Genshin Impact Wiki’s Teleport Waypoint entry. That is an achievement count for all waypoints in the two areas—not a count of hidden waypoints.
If you have completed the older route but still have missing markers in these later regions, compare your map against the Version 5.5 coverage and the official interactive map. HoYoLAB’s “[V5.5] All New Quests in Version 5.5 & How To Get Them” can help orient you to newly opened areas and quest routes, including a quest that opens the Skyfire Circlet area. It is not an exhaustive waypoint index.

Use Natlan access requirements correctly
HoYoverse’s August 28, 2024 Version 5.0 announcement says that players who have completed Mondstadt’s Archon Quest Prologue can travel to Natlan using an unlocked Teleport Waypoint. That travel access is separate from starting Natlan’s Archon Quest: the announcement gives Adventure Rank 28 and completion of Liyue’s Archon Quests as prerequisites for that quest. If you can reach Natlan but cannot begin its Archon Quest, those are different checks.

- Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family

- Master the multitude of spectacular skills of a wide roster of characters from the anime, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, to overcome challengers in head-to-head battle, locally and online
A practical completion check
- Open the Natlan region on the in-game map and note the undiscovered or missing markers.
- Check whether each missing location matches a Version 5.0 landmark in the table, including the two Hall of Parting Vows points and the floating-island points mentioned alongside the Lava River route.
- Advance the associated world quest or solve the center puzzle, then revisit the map to see whether the waypoint has appeared.
- Check Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain separately. Use the 38-waypoint achievement requirement only as an all-waypoint progress check for those two areas, not as a hidden-waypoint total.
- Compare remaining gaps with Natlan on HoYoverse’s interactive map. Because the map is dynamic and the available written guides cover different versions and areas, verify any uncertain marker in-game.
