In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Whoreson Junior’s casino is east of St. Gregory’s Bridge in Novigrad. The arena is another investigation site in the main quest Get Junior; follow its active quest marker, since available guides do not establish an equally precise landmark for it. Both locations have objectives to complete, and your approach can affect what you can do later.
When to look for the arena and casino
Advance Get Junior through your conversation with Sigi Reuven until the quest gives you location objectives. The arena and casino are two leads, alongside Junior’s hideout, and the game’s active objective is the clearest guide to your next destination. The guides do not establish a mandatory order for visiting the arena and casino.
Find and investigate the arena
- Open the quest objectives for Get Junior and track the arena objective. Follow the in-game marker to the site.
- Follow the arena objectives. Depending on your approach, this involves fighting in the ring or dealing with the thugs there.
- Search for documents and read them. Then use Witcher Senses to locate access to the secret stash and read the letter inside.
Find the casino and choose how to enter
The casino is east of St. Gregory’s Bridge in Novigrad. Game8 describes two ways to get inside peacefully:
- Pay 200 crowns. This is the bribe amount given in Game8’s walkthrough.
- Use Axii. Game8 specifies Delusion level 3 for this approach.
- Fight the bouncers. This gets you in by force, but Game8 warns that killing them locks out the casino’s Gwent route.
If you want to play Gwent there, avoid starting a fight with the bouncers. The guides describe different routes through the casino, so follow the active quest objective after you have gathered the information you came for.

Preserve the later secret-passage option
The Witcher Wiki walkthrough warns that attacking or asking about Whoreson Junior while visiting either the arena or casino prevents you from using a secret passage later. It also says that involving Cleaver affects access to that route. If preserving the passage matters to you, avoid provoking Junior at these locations and consider the consequences before involving Cleaver. The consequence is route-specific; the guides do not establish that every approach leads to the same outcome.

After completing the investigation objectives at a site, return to your quest contacts or follow the next active Get Junior marker. Your objectives can differ according to the route you took, so use the journal and on-screen marker rather than assuming every player must follow an identical sequence.
