Choose a ruleset before planning your PvP
Forever presents character realms as rulesets rather than as a conventional realm list. Your ruleset determines the kind of world you enter and who you can group with for ordinary activities. Blizzard announced Normal, PvP, Roleplaying, and Hardcore rulesets; Hardcore is planned for after launch. Horde and Alliance cannot group together. The one-faction restriction applies to character creation on the PvP ruleset; it is not described as an account-wide restriction covering characters on other rulesets. Honor and Rank Points are separate progression tracks

What to prioritize
- If you want a particular gear purchase, track your Honor balance and the vendor cost shown in your current build. Beta prices have changed, and the published information does not provide a stable full cost list.
- If you want to climb ranks, focus on Rank Points and the weekly cap. Honor saved in your currency balance is not the same as rank progress.
- If a battleground is highlighted for the week, account for its bonus. The bonus is described as applying to Honor and Rank Points, but exact yields are not provided.
- Complete season-journey weekly tasks when they suit your goals. The official progression description says these tasks grant Honor and Rank Points; completing three tasks in a season also grants a Legacy Point.
