Open Start Menu > Communication > Member List > Lobby Members to see the Lobby ID. The person joining your lobby can enter that ID in Lobby Search. Capcom’s official online manual documents both routes.
Find the Lobby ID in the menu
- Open the in-game Start Menu.
- Select Communication.
- Open Member List.
- Choose Lobby Members and read the Lobby ID shown there.
- Share that ID with the person joining. They should open Lobby Search and enter it to find your lobby.
On Steam, Capcom’s Title Update 2 announcement says Lobby ID and Hunter ID can be copied via the Start Menu. That copy option is a Steam-specific convenience described in the announcement; the Member List route is the general route documented in the online manual. Capcom’s Steam announcement

Use the right ID for the right purpose
A Lobby ID identifies a lobby and is the one to enter in Lobby Search. A Hunter ID identifies an individual hunter; do not enter it in the Lobby ID search field. Capcom discusses copying both IDs in its Steam announcement, while the manual describes Lobby Search and Member List features separately.
Choose a lobby or a Link Party
Use Lobby ID Search when your goal is to meet in a particular lobby. If you want to play with Hunter Friends, the manual says condition-based Lobby Search can include lobbies they have joined. From Member List, you can also invite players to a Link Party or send a Hunter Friend request. A Link Party and a lobby are separate things: forming or joining one does not mean the same as joining the other. Capcom’s online manual
#1 Best Overall
- Wild New Adventure – Monster Hunter Wilds follows the story of a special Research Commission investigating the Forbidden Lands. Fully voiced for the first time in the series, the hunter is joined in their journey by a colorful cast of characters, including a Palico partner, Guild-appointed Handler Alma, trusty smithy Gemma, and the mysterious child Nata. Together, the team ventures into an unexplored new frontier where surprises await around every corner.
- A Living World – The Forbidden Lands spans multiple biomes with dynamic identities, such as the Windward Plains and Scarlet Forest, where the ecosystems shift between vibrant seasons brimming with life, and unforgiving climates where monsters fight over limited resources. Changes in the landscape will impact the creatures that live there and push hunters to adapt as well.
- New Monsters and Wildlife – Monster Hunter Wilds features a variety of new creatures, ranging from herds of small species to large monsters – some of which roam the Forbidden Lands in packs. Every creature hunters encounter in the wild has carved out a special place in its habitat and possesses unique attacks and behaviors.
- Players can also now ride atop the Seikret, an agile new mount enabling hunters to traverse difficult terrain, perform actions like sharpening weapons on the move, and switch between two weapons while out on hunts!
- Evolved Hunting Action – The series’ acclaimed action-packed gameplay is back and more exciting than ever! Hunters can look forward to tracking down monsters with an array of new moves, special abilities, equipment, and more. The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.
Joining a private lobby
A private lobby can be joined through Lobby ID Search and supports up to 16 participants, according to Capcom’s online manual.

The Member List does not necessarily show everyone in the lobby. Capcom’s manual says it displays only players in the same quest and Link Members; in the Training Area, only your own character is visible. These list limits do not change the Lobby ID menu route: check Communication > Member List > Lobby Members. Capcom’s online manual
