They have different fixes. For a browser CAPTCHA that fails or will not load, Roblox recommends allow-listing .arkoselabs.com and .funcaptcha.com, checking your computer’s clock, and then trying browser cleanup. For a code prompt, check the delivery method and request or enter a current code instead.
Identify which verification prompt is looping
Look at what the screen asks you to do before changing settings:
- CAPTCHA: A puzzle, checkbox, or challenge in a web browser. Use the browser troubleshooting steps below.
- 2-Step Verification: Roblox asks for a code sent to your email or generated by an authenticator app. Follow the code-specific steps.
- Email or phone verification: Roblox asks you to verify contact information, often by opening a message or entering a code. Check that the message reaches the account’s attached address or number.
Roblox’s guidance does not identify one universal cause for every repeated verification prompt. A CAPTCHA allow-list fix will not resolve a code-delivery problem.
Fix a Roblox CAPTCHA that fails or will not load
- Allow-list Roblox’s CAPTCHA domains. Roblox names
.arkoselabs.comand.funcaptcha.comfor allow-listing when CAPTCHA verification has difficulty or the box does not load. Adjust the relevant browser, firewall, or network filtering allow-list rather than turning off security protections wholesale. See Roblox’s browser login troubleshooting. - Check your computer’s clock. Roblox says an inaccurate clock can cause login problems. Make sure the device is set to the correct time, then try the login again.
- Clear browser temporary files and cookies. Roblox’s general website troubleshooting begins with clearing temporary internet files and cookies in the browser you use for Roblox. If the CAPTCHA still repeats, follow the remaining steps in that article one at a time.
- Try account recovery if browser troubleshooting does not help. Use the Forgot Password or Username flow to reset access through an email address or phone number attached to the account. If recovery is unavailable or unsuccessful, contact Roblox Support.
Fix a repeating 2-Step Verification code prompt
Email code
- Confirm you are checking the email address associated with the Roblox account. Look in Spam, Junk, Promotions, and other filtered folders.
- Use Resend Code or Start Over on the verification screen to request a fresh code. Roblox says email 2-Step Verification codes expire after 15 minutes; a code entered incorrectly may also stop working.
- If you cannot access the mailbox, try another verification method already configured for the account, if the sign-in flow offers one.
Authenticator code
Enter the code currently displayed in the authenticator app. If it has changed or is rejected, use the newly displayed code or choose another configured verification method. Roblox’s 2-Step Verification troubleshooting covers available recovery options; which ones you can use depends on the account setup and sign-in flow.

If Roblox is asking you to verify your email or phone
For a missing verification email, check Spam or Junk and add [email protected] to your address book or contacts, then check again. A verified email or phone can help with account recovery. Roblox says phone verification is available only in select countries; its email and phone verification guidance explains the process. Users under 13 can ask a parent to verify an email as a parental recovery email.
If the prompt is for a one-time email login code rather than 2-Step Verification, Roblox says the feature is available only to some users and requires a verified email. Enter the code on the same device where you requested it, request another if it fails, and never share it. If one-time codes do not work, try signing in with your password. Recover access or contact Roblox Support
If you cannot use the listed verification methods, try the password recovery process through the email or phone linked to the account. If that route is unavailable or does not work, contact Roblox Customer Support. Include your username, affected device, the relevant help category, what prompt repeats, and the troubleshooting steps you have already tried. Roblox requires ownership verification before it resets an account or changes account information.
For a Roblox platform or experience issue rather than a sign-in problem, Support directs users to its help articles and Status page as appropriate. Authenticator apps and security keys are account security or 2-Step Verification methods, not documented fixes for a browser CAPTCHA loop; Roblox describes them in its 2-Step Verification setup guidance.
