Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →If an HCS weapon coating is missing in Halo Infinite, first verify that you completed the Twitch Drop and claimed it through the correct Halo Waypoint account. Then check the coating under the weapon it was made for in Customize. A reward marked Claimed should be available in the associated game; if it is not, restart the game and allow up to 24 hours for it to appear.
1. Check that the right Twitch and Xbox accounts are linked
Sign in to Halo Waypoint with the Xbox account and Gamertag you use in Halo Infinite. Confirm that the intended Twitch account is linked and that Waypoint shows the connection. A Twitch password change can unlink the account, and one Waypoint account can be linked to one Twitch account at a time, according to Halo Support’s instructions.
2. Confirm that you completed the Twitch Drop
Open your Twitch Drops inventory and check that the HCS reward appears and that its requirements are complete. If the reward is not listed in Waypoint, Halo Support recommends checking whether it is ready to claim in your Twitch Drops inventory.
3. Claim the reward in Halo Waypoint
- On Halo Waypoint, open your profile menu.
- Select Drops & Code Redemption.
- Open the Twitch Drops tab and find the HCS reward.
- If it has a Claim button, select it. This completes the Waypoint claim for a reward earned on Twitch but not yet granted there.
If the reward is marked Claimed, Halo Support says it should be available in the associated game. Twitch Drop completion and Waypoint redemption are separate checks, so confirm both statuses before troubleshooting the in-game inventory.

4. Look in the coating slot for the correct weapon
Launch Halo Infinite, open Customize, and check the coating options for the weapon associated with the reward. Cosmetics can be limited to a particular weapon or armor type. HCS team bundles include weapon coatings, which are equipped as game customizations; see Halo’s Customization Overview | Halo Infinite CU29.
5. Restart the game and allow time for delivery
If Waypoint shows the reward as claimed but it is still missing in the game, restart Halo Infinite and allow up to 24 hours for it to appear, as Halo Support advises.

6. Contact Halo Support if the coating remains missing
If the reward still does not appear after the wait and restart, submit a Halo Support ticket. Include screenshots that show:
- The Twitch Drops inventory and completed reward requirements.
- The reward’s status in Waypoint’s Twitch Drops tab.
- Your Waypoint redemption history.
- The linked Twitch account shown in Waypoint.
Halo Support says it cannot grant Twitch Drop rewards or assist with linking accounts, but directs players with a completed reward that remains missing to submit a ticket so the report can be investigated. Refreshing the account link may help with future Drops; it does not retroactively grant past rewards. The official steps are in How to Claim Halo Twitch Drops.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhat these checks can—and cannot—confirm
This process can identify an incomplete Drop, an unclaimed Waypoint reward, an account mismatch, or a coating checked under the wrong weapon. It does not establish whether a particular historical HCS coating is still obtainable, or confirm a current service issue affecting that coating.
