Then test the site in a current private browser window with extensions, VPNs and proxies disabled, and try an ordinary connection such as mobile data. A code such as 1009, 1006–1008, 1106, 1020 or 1010 identifies the kind of block, but only Bullchat can remove a rule applied to its visitors. If the block remains, send Bullchat a screenshot with the code, Ray ID, time, browser, operating system and network type.
What Bullchat’s “Access Denied” message means
“Access Denied” means the request was refused before the page could load normally. It does not, by itself, prove that your browser is broken, that your account is banned, or that your computer is infected. The page may be generated by Cloudflare, the security service in front of a website, or by Bullchat’s own server.

Cloudflare’s visitor documentation separates several common blocks. Error 1009 is a country or region restriction. Errors 1006–1008 and 1106 indicate that the site owner blocked an IP address or autonomous-system number (ASN). Error 1020 is an HTTP 403 caused by a security rule configured by the website owner. Error 1010 means the owner blocked the request according to the browser’s signature. The code matters more than the general words “Access Denied.”

Capture the evidence before troubleshooting
Take a screenshot or copy the complete error page before changing settings. Keep the information together so you can compare tests and give support something actionable.
- Copy the complete message. Include every line, the numeric code and any wording about a country, browser, security rule or forbidden request.
- Record the Ray ID. Cloudflare pages normally show a Ray ID near the bottom. It is one of the most useful identifiers for the site owner.
- Write down the time in UTC. Add your local time and time zone if helpful, but include an approximate UTC time when contacting support.
- Note your environment. Record the browser and version, operating system, and whether you are using home Wi-Fi, mobile data, school or workplace internet.
- Describe what changed. Say whether the page ever worked, whether the block started after changing networks or browsers, and whether other websites load normally.
- Do not publish sensitive data. A screenshot should not expose passwords, private messages, payment details or unrelated personal information.
Identify the likely cause from the code

Cloudflare’s Error 1009 documentation, updated April 23, 2026, describes access denied from a country or region. Its Error 1020 documentation, updated October 14, 2026, describes a security feature configured by the website owner. Its Error 1010 documentation, updated July 12, 2026, describes a browser-signature block. Those dates describe the Cloudflare documentation, not a promise that Bullchat uses any particular policy beyond the code displayed to you.
Run a clean browser test
The purpose of this test is to remove local variables without making permanent changes.

Use the latest normal release available for your operating system. Avoid an obsolete browser, an embedded browser inside another app, or a modified user-agent setting.
- Open a private window. In most browsers, choose the private or incognito window command from the main menu, then enter Bullchat’s address manually. A private window starts without the usual stored cookies and most ordinary session data.
- Disable extensions for this test. Turn off ad blockers, script controls, privacy filters, user-agent switchers and security extensions one at a time, or use a clean browser profile. Re-enable them after testing if they are not the cause.
- Remove a configured proxy. Check the operating system and browser network settings for a proxy that you intentionally configured. Do not change an employer’s managed setting without permission; record it and ask the administrator instead.
- Temporarily disconnect a VPN. This lets Bullchat see the ordinary connection supplied by your ISP. A different result after disconnecting is a clue about the VPN address or route, not proof that using a VPN is allowed.
- Try once, then stop. If the page displays a rate-limit warning, repeated refreshes can make the test less useful. Wait for the interval shown instead of repeatedly submitting requests.
If the clean private window works, restore extensions and network settings one at a time until the blocking condition is identified. If it fails with the same code, continue to the network comparison rather than repeatedly clearing data.

Compare a second network
Use mobile data on the same device, or another ordinary connection that you are authorized to use. The comparison is diagnostic:
- Works on mobile data but not home Wi-Fi: the home ISP address, ASN, router, DNS filtering or local policy is implicated. It does not prove Bullchat has banned your household specifically.
- Fails on both connections with the same code: a browser-signature issue, a broader site rule, a country restriction or a Bullchat-side policy becomes more likely.
- Works on neither connection, but other websites work: the block is probably specific to Bullchat or to the way its security service evaluates the request.
- Many unrelated websites fail: investigate the network, DNS, firewall, parental-control or HTTPS-inspection system rather than treating this as a Bullchat-only problem.
Cloudflare’s network guidance recommends a different network when local or ISP interference is suspected. Keep the browser and device the same during the comparison so that only the connection changes. If a VPN changes the result, record that observation, but do not regard it as authorization to bypass a regional or site rule.
How to handle Error 1009
Error 1009 means Cloudflare is reporting that the website owner has denied access from your country or region. Cloudflare’s visitor remedy is to contact the website owner and ask for the IP address to be allowed.
What you can check
- Confirm that the code is exactly 1009, not 1020 or a generic 403.
- Check the connection’s apparent country with a reputable network-information service if your organization permits it. Geolocation databases can be wrong, so this is only a clue.
- Repeat the test without a VPN or proxy. A VPN endpoint may be classified in a different country, but changing endpoints is not a guaranteed or necessarily permitted fix.
- Test mobile data only to determine whether the ISP path changes the result. If both connections are in the same country and both show 1009, the restriction is consistent with a country or regional rule.
There is no browser setting that can legitimately remove a country restriction imposed by the site owner. Send the screenshot, 1009 code, Ray ID, approximate UTC time and your actual connection details through a verified Bullchat contact channel.

How to handle Errors 1006, 1007, 1008 and 1106
Cloudflare groups these responses as blocks of an IP address or autonomous-system number. An ASN identifies a network operator, such as an ISP, mobile carrier, hosting provider or organization. A shared public address can affect many people who have never interacted with Bullchat.
Use the network comparison
- Open Bullchat from home Wi-Fi and record the code.
- Turn off Wi-Fi and use your carrier’s mobile data, without a VPN.
- Compare the result using the same device and clean browser.
- If mobile data works, restart only your home router if that is normal for your setup, then test once more. A restart may obtain a different ISP address, but it is not guaranteed and should not be used to evade a deliberate ban.
If every connection shows the same code, changing local DNS or repeatedly rebooting the router is unlikely to resolve the site-owner rule. Contact Bullchat with both connection results. Cloudflare says its support team cannot override a block created by the Cloudflare customer.
How to handle Error 1020
Error 1020 is an HTTP 403 generated when a Cloudflare security feature configured by the website owner blocks the request. The security rule may evaluate the request’s IP, headers, path, rate, browser characteristics or other signals. The error page itself does not reveal which private rule matched.
Perform one controlled test
- Copy the full 1020 page and Ray ID.
- Use a current browser’s private window.
- Disable extensions, proxy and VPN temporarily.
- Try the site once from your normal connection.
- Try once from mobile data if available and authorized.
Do not attempt to probe URLs, automate requests, alter headers or repeatedly refresh in order to discover the rule. Those actions can trigger additional defenses and make the support record less clear. If 1020 persists, the site owner needs the screenshot and Ray ID to locate the matching event in its security logs. Cloudflare specifically instructs visitors to provide that information to the website owner.

How to handle Error 1010
Error 1010 means the site owner blocked the request according to the browser’s signature. A signature can be influenced by the browser family and version, user-agent changes, unusual automation features, privacy modifications or extensions that alter normal requests. The message does not establish that you did anything wrong.
- Install the latest stable release of a mainstream browser supported by your operating system.
- Open a private window with all optional extensions disabled.
- Remove user-agent switchers and browser-automation settings from the test profile.
- Do not run scripts or scraping tools against the site.
- Capture the 1010 page and contact Bullchat if the clean profile is still blocked.
Cloudflare’s visitor instruction for 1010 is to notify the website owner. Clearing cookies can help distinguish a stale session from a browser-signature block, but it cannot change a server rule that intentionally rejects the browser signature.

This pattern usually means the two connections present different public IP addresses, ASNs, geolocation results or filtering policies. First, repeat both tests without a VPN, with the same browser and at roughly the same time. Then check whether other services are also unavailable on Wi-Fi.
If only Bullchat fails on Wi-Fi
Save the Wi-Fi code and Ray ID and ask Bullchat whether its rule is blocking the home ISP address or ASN. You can also ask the ISP whether the address is shared, recently reassigned or subject to a security reputation issue. Do not claim that the ISP caused the block unless its support team confirms interference.

If many sites fail on Wi-Fi
Ask the network administrator or ISP to check parental controls, corporate filtering, DNS rewriting, firewall policy and HTTPS inspection. On a managed school or workplace network, only the administrator can authorize a change. Cloudflare recommends involving the ISP or IT administrator when network interference is suspected.
Will a VPN fix Bullchat?
A VPN can change the apparent IP address, ASN and country, so it may produce a different page. That result is diagnostic, not a guarantee that Bullchat permits VPN access. A VPN endpoint may itself be blocked, may place you in a restricted region, or may violate the service’s rules. Do not use a VPN to evade a country restriction, an account action or a network policy. For a clean diagnosis, disconnect the VPN first and document whether the ordinary connection works.
Contact Bullchat with useful information
Use a verified Bullchat support or contact channel rather than an address copied from an untrusted post. Keep the message factual and concise:

- State that the page displays “Access Denied.”
- Provide the exact numeric code, such as 1009 or 1020.
- Attach the screenshot showing the Ray ID, while redacting unrelated private information.
- Give the approximate UTC time and your browser and operating-system versions.
- Identify whether the test used home Wi-Fi, mobile data, school or workplace internet.
- Report the comparison result: for example, “blocked on home Wi-Fi, works on mobile data,” or “blocked on both.”
- Ask whether the address, ASN, country or browser signature is intentionally restricted and what eligibility or support requirement applies.
Only the site owner can approve an address or change its Cloudflare customer rule. Cloudflare’s public error guidance cannot tell you whether Bullchat has an account, age or regional requirement, so ask Bullchat directly for those details.

- Do not install an unknown “access fixer,” certificate, browser extension or executable offered by a pop-up.
- Do not enter Bullchat credentials into a page that is not the verified site or its verified support channel.
- Do not share a full IP address, account password, payment data or private chat content publicly.
- Do not keep refreshing a page that reports a rate limit.
- Do not assume that an antivirus alert, a browser warning or an Access Denied page is evidence of infection. They are separate signals.
- Do not factory-reset the router, reinstall Windows or delete browser profiles before you have captured the error and completed the simple comparison tests.

- 1009: treat it as a country or region rule and contact Bullchat; a VPN is not a guaranteed or automatically permitted fix.

- 1020: perform one clean test, save the Ray ID and screenshot, and ask Bullchat to review its security event.
- 1010: test a current browser without extensions or user-agent changes, then notify Bullchat if it remains blocked.
- Many sites fail: involve the network administrator or ISP because local filtering or network interference is possible.
