EA’s current general EA app error-code guidance does not list EC:10600. An EA Forums thread about FC 24 associates the code with the message “We couldn’t load your cloud data,” but that historical community report is not an official diagnosis and does not establish the cause in FC 25.

Because the cause is unconfirmed, work from the least disruptive checks toward more involved app troubleshooting. Do not delete or overwrite local game folders or save files while trying to resolve the error.

Check whether EA services are having a problem
Check EA’s server status page for service interruptions, then try again later if services are degraded. EA notes that some errors require waiting for a service-side fix; changing local files will not resolve an outage.

Check your connection
Confirm your device is online, then follow EA’s connection troubleshooting guidance for your platform. EA recommends checking server status and provides platform-specific connection steps. If other online features also fail, address the connection problem before changing FC 25 files.

Clear the EA app cache on PC or Mac
If you launch through the EA app, open Help > App Recovery > Clear Cache and follow the prompts. EA says clearing the cache can help with common app and download issues, but it “can’t fix problems like game outages or servers going down.” This step applies to the EA app; it is not a console fix. Repair FC 25 in the EA app
If the game itself will not load, open Library, select the game’s three-dot menu, and choose Repair. EA recommends this as a general fix for games that will not load in the app; it is not a confirmed remedy for EC:10600. Follow EA’s game-repair guidance.

Contact EA Help if the code persists
Use the FC 25 support hub to reach the appropriate help options. Include the exact code, your platform, when the problem began, whether you can still access other online features, and the steps you have already tried. EA’s general error guidance recommends reporting persistent codes that it does not list.

Should you rename an FC folder or delete local files?
Do not start by renaming or deleting folders under Documents, or by removing save files. In the FC 24 forum thread, one player said renaming an FC 24 folder helped, while others reported different results; another participant warned that the change could delete single-player progress. These mixed, unofficial reports do not establish a safe FC 25 fix.
EA’s FC support guidance explains that Career files are saves and cannot be restored if deleted. Back up and understand any local data before changing it, and do not delete Career saves as a troubleshooting step.
