If a Jurassic World Evolution 2 add-on is missing on PS5, the cause is usually an account entitlement, license, region, installation, or console-cache problem—not a gameplay setting. What “DLC not showing up” means on PS5
Jurassic World Evolution 2 content can appear to be missing in several different ways. 1. Confirm the purchase and the PSN account
Start with ownership, because a license cannot be restored on an account that did not buy the content.
Check transaction history
- Open the PSN account’s transaction history on the web or through the account-management interface available to you.
- Find the Jurassic World Evolution 2 add-on and confirm that the transaction completed rather than remaining pending, cancelled, or refunded.
- Record the transaction ID and the exact product name. Edition names can be similar, so note whether the entry is a Deluxe Edition Content pack, an individual species pack, or another add-on.
Use the purchasing account on the PS5
On a console shared by several people, the account currently playing the game may not be the account that bought the DLC. Sign out of other profiles if necessary and test Jurassic World Evolution 2 while signed in to the purchasing PSN account. The ownership check should be done before attempting a reinstall; reinstalling while using the wrong profile does not transfer the entitlement.
If the transaction is absent from the account you are using, do not assume the purchase failed. Check every PSN account that has been used on the console, including a family member’s account, and verify the store country associated with that account. Keep the receipt or confirmation email available in case support must locate the transaction.

Restoring licenses is the safest corrective action and should happen before deleting Jurassic World Evolution 2. Sony Interactive Entertainment states that restoring licenses can help when a user cannot locate a game or add-on and notes: “Please note, restoring licenses won’t affect your data.”

Exact PS5 menu path
- From the PS5 home screen, open Settings.
- Select Users and Accounts.
- Choose Other.
- Select Restore Licenses.
- Choose Restore and wait for the operation to finish.
- Restart Jurassic World Evolution 2 while signed in to the account that purchased the add-on.
License restoration does not erase saved games, your installed application, or your account. It refreshes the console’s recognition of purchases. If the game was open during the operation, close it completely first so it can request the refreshed entitlement at the next launch.
3. Inspect the game tile and Manage Game Content
After restoring licenses, check whether the add-on is installed, queued, or waiting for a download.
Find the add-on from the home screen
- Highlight Jurassic World Evolution 2 on the PS5 home screen or in Game Library.
- Press the controller’s Options button.
- Open Manage Game Content or the available download controls. The wording can vary slightly with the PS5 system software and the game edition.
- Look for the purchased add-on and check whether it is installed, paused, queued, or incomplete.
If an add-on is listed as incomplete, remove only that add-on entry and start the download again. Do not delete saved data. Wait for the download and installation to finish before launching the game, then open the game’s DLC or content screen to verify that the entitlement is available.
When no separate download appears
Some Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC is primarily an entitlement. The console may not present it as a conspicuous, large package on the home screen. In that situation, the absence of a separate download does not by itself prove that the purchase is missing. With the license restored and the base game updated, launch the game and inspect its downloadable-content, sandbox, campaign, or content-selection menus. New species, buildings, signs, and vehicle skins may be selectable from those menus rather than from a separate PS5 application.

4. Check the game, add-on, and account regions
Region compatibility is critical for physical copies. A disc purchased in one market can be incompatible with DLC purchased through a PSN store for another market, even when the game title and language look identical.
What to compare
- The country or region printed on the game case or disc.
- The country or region of the PSN account signed in on the PS5.
- The store region in which the DLC transaction was made.
PlayStation’s add-on guidance warns that the disc and account region must match for DLC to function. If your physical copy came from another country, compare its package markings with the PSN account’s store country before spending time on repeated downloads. A mismatched disc and account can leave the base game playable while preventing an otherwise valid add-on entitlement from attaching to it.
Digital-copy owners
A digital copy is normally delivered through the same regional storefront as the purchasing account, so the disc-versus-account mismatch does not apply in the same way. You still need to use the account that completed the purchase and install the game from that account’s library. If several accounts have access to the console, test the purchaser’s account directly rather than relying on another profile’s console-sharing access.

If the account, region, and license are correct but the game still does not request or recognize the content, perform a full power cycle. Frontier Developments’ console guidance says: “Turn off your PlayStation, do not enter rest mode.”

- Save your game and close Jurassic World Evolution 2.
- Turn off the PS5 completely. Do not select Rest Mode.
- Wait until the indicator light has stopped blinking and the console is completely off.
- Unplug the PS5’s power cord.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and start the PS5 normally.
- Launch the game with the purchasing account and check the DLC again.
This procedure clears temporary console state without removing installed games or saved data. It is different from putting the PS5 into Rest Mode, which leaves the system partially powered and does not perform the same cold restart.
6. Reinstall the application only after the checks above
Reinstallation can repair damaged or incomplete game files, but it should be a later step because it takes longer and does not correct a wrong account or incompatible region.
Protect your saved data
- Confirm that saved data is synchronized or backed up using the storage options available on your PS5 account.
- When removing the game, delete the application only. Do not choose an option that deletes saved data.
- Keep the purchasing account available so the console can download the entitled version again.
Reinstall Jurassic World Evolution 2
- Highlight Jurassic World Evolution 2 on the home screen or in Game Library.
- Press Options and choose the delete option for the application.
- Reinstall the game from the PS5 Library using the same edition and account associated with the purchase.
- Allow the base game and its updates to finish installing before checking the add-on.
- Restore licenses once more if the add-on is still absent, then inspect Manage Game Content and the in-game DLC screen.
If the game is installed on an external USB drive or an added storage device, try installing the application on the PS5’s internal SSD during troubleshooting. This is a diagnostic change, not a requirement stated for every installation. It can help distinguish a storage-access problem from an entitlement problem. Move the game back only after the DLC works normally.

Contact PlayStation Support when the transaction is present on the purchasing account but the add-on cannot be downloaded, installed, or recognized after license restoration and the region check. Contact Frontier Support when the PS5 recognizes the purchase yet Jurassic World Evolution 2 still fails to expose the game-specific content.

Information to include
- The PSN transaction ID and the account that made the purchase.
- The exact DLC or edition name shown in the transaction history.
- Whether the base game is digital or physical.
- The country or region printed on a physical disc and the PSN account’s store region.
- The PS5 game version and whether the application is on the internal SSD or expanded storage.
- The result of Restore Licenses and the date you performed it.
- Screenshots of the purchase, Manage Game Content, and the in-game DLC screen.
- A short video showing the missing content if a screenshot cannot demonstrate the problem.
PlayStation’s add-on guidance specifically asks users to provide evidence when purchased content still does not appear. Supplying the transaction and region details at the beginning avoids a generic reply that sends you back through steps you have already completed.
How the Deluxe Edition Content pack works
Owners of the Standard Edition can purchase the Deluxe Edition Content pack through their platform store. Frontier lists the pack’s contents as:
- Six amenity guest-building signs.
- Three Dinosaur Protection Group vehicle skins.
- Five additional prehistoric animals: Huayangosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Megalosaurus, Geosternbergia, and Attenborosaurus.
This is a digital entitlement associated with the platform account; it is not a separate physical product that must be inserted into the console. After the pack is recognized, the listed animals and cosmetic items appear in the game’s appropriate content or customization areas. If the store shows ownership but none of these items is available, follow the account, license, region, and installation sequence rather than buying the pack again.
Digital and physical setups require different checks

The same add-on can therefore work on one console and fail on another when the disc market, account region, or purchasing profile differs. Those differences are more significant than the size of the download shown in the PS5 interface.
What not to do
- Do not delete the application before verifying the purchasing account and restoring licenses.
- Do not delete saved data when you intend to remove only the game application.
- Do not buy the DLC a second time while the original transaction is still being investigated.
- Do not assume that a missing separate download means the entitlement is absent; check the in-game content screen.
- Do not overlook the region printed on a physical disc.
- Do not use Rest Mode as a substitute for the complete 30-second power-cycle procedure.
When the problem is fixed
The repair is complete when the purchasing account shows the completed transaction, the PS5 accepts the restored license, the add-on is installed or recognized, and Jurassic World Evolution 2 exposes the relevant content in its own menus. For the Deluxe Edition Content pack, verify that the listed signs, vehicle skins, and five animals are available where the game manages those items. If the transaction remains valid but the content is still absent after these checks, support—not another purchase or repeated reinstall—is the appropriate next step.
