First identify where the missing item was supposed to come from: a current Premium Battle Pass, an Unvaulted Pass, a Twitch Drop, or a direct purchase. Each has different eligibility and claim rules. A reward that is excluded from a pass or still needs to be claimed is not necessarily a technical problem.
Check the reward source and account first
In Overwatch, find the exact item in the current in-game pass, Legacy Pass Menu, or reward campaign details. Note which pass or promotion offered it, whether you claimed or purchased it, and which Battle.net account and platform you used. This determines which checks apply.

| Current Premium Battle Pass | Premium ownership and whether you reached the item’s tier | Mythic Prisms are earned through Premium Battle Pass progression; the Free Battle Pass does not award them. Current reward details are shown in game. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer |
| Unvaulted Pass | Whether you own it and activated it in the Legacy Pass Menu | Current patch notes say Mythic Prisms are not obtainable in Unvaulted Passes. You must own and activate an Unvaulted Pass to progress it. Current Overwatch patch notes |
| Twitch Drop | Whether you claimed it on Twitch and linked the correct Twitch and Battle.net accounts | A claimed Drop expires after seven days if no Battle.net account is linked. Blizzard’s Twitch Drops instructions |
| Direct purchase | The storefront, account, and transaction that processed the purchase | Check the transaction record and retain its receipt or identifier before contacting support. |
Current Premium Battle Pass rewards or Mythic Prisms
- Confirm you are signed into the Battle.net account and platform used to acquire the pass.
- Check that you own the Premium track, not only the Free track. Blizzard says Mythic Prisms come from Premium Battle Pass progression or an in-game purchase, not the Free Battle Pass.
- Open the current pass in game and check the reward tier and your progression. The Mythic Shop explainer’s tier schedule and amount describe an earlier version of the system, not a guaranteed current-season amount. Use the live game’s reward details rather than assuming an older tier or quantity still applies.
- If the item came from a direct Prism purchase, check the transaction in the storefront that processed it and make sure you are using the associated game account. Keep the receipt or transaction identifier.
Unvaulted Pass rewards
Do not expect Mythic Prisms from an Unvaulted Pass: current Overwatch patch notes say they are not obtainable there. The notes also say you must own the Unvaulted Pass and activate it from the Legacy Pass Menu before earning XP toward it.
Open the Legacy Pass Menu, confirm which pass is selected, and check its activation and reward details. Unvaulted Pass contents and rules can be season-specific, so the current patch notes and in-game menu are the relevant references. Blizzard’s Season 5 announcement also listed Mythic Prisms among the rewards not included in Unvaulted Passes, alongside Overwatch Coins, XP Boosts, Prestige Titles, and Mythic hero and weapon skins; that older announcement is corroboration, not a substitute for current seasonal details.

Twitch Drop rewards
- Claim the reward on the eligible Twitch channel or in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
- Check that the Twitch account used to claim it is linked to the Battle.net account you use for Overwatch.
- If claiming on a device, use a PC or Mac browser or the Twitch app for Android or iOS. Blizzard says claiming is not supported through console, smart TV, or other TV apps.
- Check timing: Blizzard says a claimed Drop expires after seven days if no Battle.net account is linked.
These steps apply to Twitch Drops, not Battle Pass progression or direct purchases. See Blizzard’s Twitch Drops instructions for the account-linking and claim process.
