This message means the EA app has reached its computer-access limit for the game. EA says the limit is five computers in a 24-hour period; the supported fix is to wait, which can take up to 24 hours before you can launch FC 25 again.
What the FC 25 error means
EA’s help page gives the message as “Too many computers have accessed this account’s version of [game title] recently. Please try again later.” The bracketed text is EA’s placeholder for the game title; the message you see may identify FC 25.

EA describes this as an EA app limit on computer access. Its guidance is for playing games through the EA app on a computer; it does not establish that the same limit applies to console versions or explain other launch errors. EA’s EA app download and play guidance states the limit and recovery period.
Why FC 25 may count as another computer
EA says the limit is five computers within a 24-hour period. A computer can count as a new one if you switch to a different computer, change hardware in the current computer, or use a virtual machine to play. That means upgrading components or launching through a virtual machine may contribute to the limit even if you are using the same EA account.

What to do when the message appears
- Stop trying to launch the game on other computers. Switching devices or making further hardware changes will not bypass the stated limit.
- Wait before trying again. EA says it can take up to 24 hours before you can launch the game after exceeding the limit. EA does not promise an exact reset time for every account.
- If the message remains after that period, contact EA Support. The cited guidance does not establish another fix or explain why an account might remain blocked beyond the stated wait.
What will not fix this limit
EA describes a time-based computer-access restriction, not a hardware defect or a missing game accessory. Buying another FC 25 copy, a controller, PC components, or a repair utility is not a remedy identified in EA’s guidance. The cited page also notes that EA app purchases are added to the EA library and cannot be transferred to Steam; changing purchase platform is not a way to clear the limit.
