If no active server issue is indicated, open the Connection section of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Technical Troubleshooting page and follow its current instructions. Choose the next step based on what is affected
3. If only one character is affected, use Blizzard’s character move option
If other characters can log in but one cannot, Blizzard says its character-move self-service option may help. Find the current instructions through Blizzard’s character move support page. A player on Blizzard’s forum reported that a character move resolved a one-character login issue, but that is an individual report, not a guaranteed result.
4. If you use Killer Networking Center or SmartByte, review its game prioritization
A Blizzard forum support reply from January 2019 associated some reports with Killer Networking Center’s Advanced Stream Detect and SmartByte. It suggested disabling Advanced Stream Detect to retest and checking whether WoW or Battle.net had been given network priority. This is dated, case-specific advice, not a current universal fix. If either utility is installed, check its current labels and consult current support instructions before changing settings.

5. Treat IPv6 as a later, region-sensitive option
Blizzard’s Korean support article mentions enabling IPv6 only after other troubleshooting has failed. It also warns that IPv6 can cause other problems in some regions and says to disable the option if that happens. Do not switch IPv6 on as a first step or assume it is appropriate for every connection. See Blizzard’s Korean support article.
6. If this happens during online character item restoration, log in again
Blizzard says WOW51900319 can be normal while online character item restoration is in progress. In that specific situation, log in again to receive the items and continue. This explanation applies to that restoration process, not to every occurrence of the error. See Blizzard’s support guidance.

7. Test whether Wi-Fi instability is involved
If you are playing over Wi-Fi, a temporary test on a wired Ethernet connection can help determine whether the wireless link is part of the problem. This is a diagnostic option, not an established fix for WOW51900319, and it does not mean you need to buy new equipment.
8. Compare the affected characters and sessions
Note whether the error occurs with one character or several, and whether it is confined to a particular login attempt or situation. A one-character pattern makes Blizzard’s character-move option more relevant; an error affecting multiple characters does not, by itself, identify a cause.

9. Avoid broad or unsupported changes
Do not treat registry edits, MTU changes, VPN use, repeated reinstalls, or disabling the firewall entirely as established fixes for this code. The cited Blizzard guidance does not verify those remedies. Make changes only when current, relevant support instructions explain what to change and how to reverse it.
