Check the full message and any error code first: Roblox’s current guidance identifies Error Code 267 as a ban issued by that experience’s creator, while other kick messages can come from experience code or appear alongside connection problems.
What does “You were kicked from this experience” mean?
An experience can disconnect a player and display a message through its own code. Roblox’s Player:Kick documentation says the method can disconnect a client and optionally show a message; it can also display a default notice. So the wording alone is not proof of a Roblox-wide account action or a ban.
Read the entire notice, including anything after a colon, and note the error code. Roblox maintains separate guidance for different errors; the code and accompanying symptoms determine which next step makes sense.
If the message includes Error Code 267
Roblox’s Error Code 267 support page describes it as a ban from an experience issued by that experience’s creator. Roblox says its Support team cannot remove a creator-issued ban or contact the creator for you.

- Record the exact message and the experience where it appeared.
- Contact the experience creator through the available Roblox or community channels. Share your account name, the full message, and relevant circumstances calmly.
- Wait for the creator’s response. Reinstalling Roblox or changing your network will not reverse a confirmed creator-issued ban.
If there is no clear ban reason and Roblox seems unable to connect
Use this branch if the kick occurs with loading or connection trouble and the message does not identify an experience ban. Roblox’s General Connection Problems guide recommends checking browser and security settings, the wireless connection, browser add-ons, firewall or router configuration, and—if needed—reinstalling Roblox.
- Try the guide’s connection checks one at a time, then retry the experience so you can tell whether a change helped.
- If the problem persists, contact Roblox Support. Include the exact error and message, your device model and operating system, the steps that reproduce the problem, and any recent device or network changes.
These checks address connection trouble; they are not a fix for an Error Code 267 experience ban.

How to tell which troubleshooting branch fits
These clues help you describe the problem, but none proves the cause on its own.

Also note whether it happens in one experience or several. That scope is useful context when asking for help, but it does not prove whether the cause is a ban, experience code, or connection issue. Roblox’s Reporting Bugs and error-code help index links to separate guidance for different problems.

If you develop the experience
Inspect your own experience’s code paths that call Player:Kick, the conditions that trigger them, and how errors are handled. A Roblox Developer Forum discussion describes one anecdotal bug pattern: code treated missing player datastore data as an error and kicked new players. Treat that as a prompt to check your own logic and logs, not as a universal explanation for players seeing this message.
