To get repeatable High Rank Zoh Shia hunts in Monster Hunter Wilds, reach Hunter Rank 50, finish the added postgame story missions, then look for a Zoh Shia field survey in the Ruins of Wyveria. Save an available field hunt as an Investigation through the map or quest interface; you can then select it at the quest counter. The encounter’s timing is variable, so a forecast or a set number of rests is not a guarantee.
Unlock High Rank Zoh Shia first
Guides report that repeatable High Rank Zoh Shia access requires both Hunter Rank 50 and completion of the added postgame story content. Game8 identifies the relevant missions as An Unexpected Summons and A First Cry; see its Zoh Shia Investigation guide. If Zoh Shia is not appearing as a repeatable High Rank hunt, check that both requirements are complete before cycling environments or looking for multiplayer hunts.
Find a Zoh Shia field encounter
Look in the Ruins of Wyveria for a Zoh Shia field survey or investigation opportunity. Check the environment overview and regional forecast for the area, as recommended by Shacknews. A forecast can help you decide when to check, but it is not a promise that the monster will appear in that session. The cited guides describe the timing as variable; they do not establish a reliable spawn rate or guaranteed rest schedule.

Save the encounter as an Investigation
- Open the map or quest interface when a Zoh Shia field encounter is available in the Ruins of Wyveria.
- Save the field hunt as an Investigation using the option shown by the current in-game interface. Guide descriptions of the precise menu steps differ, so follow the labels displayed in your version of the game.
- Start the saved hunt by selecting the Investigation at the quest counter. TechWiser describes starting it from Alma’s counter; the available menu labels may vary with the interface.
Saving a field encounter this way gives you a hunt you can select later rather than relying on the monster being present in the environment every time.

If Zoh Shia does not appear
- Confirm you have reached HR 50 and completed the added story missions required for High Rank access.
- Check the Ruins of Wyveria environment overview and forecast, then revisit later rather than relying on a fixed number of rests.
- Look for an SOS hunt or an open lobby hunt if you want to fight Zoh Shia before your own field encounter appears.
- When a field survey becomes available, save it as an Investigation before leaving the encounter so you can select it later at the quest counter.
