To get the Ascendant Midas skin in Fortnite, check the in-game Item Shop: Epic announced it as a Shop Outfit, but the official shop result checked on October 7, 2026 labels it “Currently Not Available.” The other documented route was the Rise of Midas Cup in March 2024, which is over; Epic has not announced a return date in the sources reviewed.
How to Get Ascendant Midas
- Open Fortnite and check the Item Shop for Ascendant Midas or the Golden King set. Epic announced the Outfit for the Shop starting March 26, 2024, at 8 PM ET.
- If it is not listed, there is no documented current quest or tournament route in the sources reviewed. Check the Shop again later rather than relying on predicted return dates.
The Rise of Midas Cup offered a separate, limited-time way to earn the Outfit before its Shop release. That tournament took place on March 24, 2024, and is no longer an available route.

What Happened in the Rise of Midas Cup?
Epic Games’ 2024 announcement said Cup participants could play up to 10 matches during a three-hour regional window. Eligibility required verified two-factor authentication and an Epic account at level 15 or above; Cabined Accounts were excluded. These were requirements for the past competition, not current unlock steps.
Epic also said players who earned at least 8 points received the Rise of Midas Loading Screen. That reward was a Loading Screen, not the Ascendant Midas Outfit. Top scorers in each region received the Outfit and Golden King’s Cape before they entered the Shop.

How Much Does Ascendant Midas Cost?
Epic’s announcement did not state a price. A community-maintained Fortnite Wiki lists a historical price of 2,000 V-Bucks for the Outfit and 2,500 V-Bucks for the Golden King Bundle. Treat those as secondary-source listed prices, not a guarantee of what the Outfit or bundle would cost if they return.
Can You Still Get Ascendant Midas?
The official shop result checked for this article labels the Outfit “Currently Not Available.” The Rise of Midas Cup is over, and no current quest route or return date is documented in the sources reviewed. Check Fortnite’s Item Shop for any change in availability.
