1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsTo leave the Frigate, retrace the engine-port route to the lower exterior wing, continue to the rear docking bay, and ride a Reclaimer down without disrupting it. Touching down on the ground does not finish the raid: you must still reach an active extraction point on the host map. A cargo descent is also described as an alternative, but it likewise ends only when you complete a normal map extraction.
What “getting down” actually means
The Frigate is an elevated encounter area reached with a Reclaimer. That vehicle carries you upward toward the ship, so the documented return route uses another Reclaimer to reverse the trip. The important distinction is between descending from the Frigate and extracting from the raid. The first puts your character back on the map. The second requires a successful exit at an active extraction point.

Many failed attempts come from treating the landing as the end of the run. After the Reclaimer reaches the ground, you are still exposed on the host map and must navigate to an available extraction site. Plan for that second journey before you leave the ship.

Frigate appearances are tied to map conditions and rotation rather than being permanently available on every deployment. The official ARC Raiders site displayed an ARC Frigate condition for Pendola Pass on October 13, 2026. That condition is volatile, so do not assume that a Frigate will be present simply because it appeared in an earlier run.

- Check the current map condition in the deployment screen.
- Confirm that the selected map is currently showing the Frigate condition.
- Once inside, verify the ship and its approach vehicle before committing to the route.
The current guides do not establish a fixed spawn schedule, a guaranteed Reclaimer location on every map, or exact interaction-button wording for every platform. Treat the on-screen prompt and the current map layout as authoritative for your build instead of relying on a memorized key or timing.
The documented Reclaimer route, step by step
This is the clearest route described by current guides. It uses recognizable Frigate landmarks rather than an unverified shortcut.
- Return to the engine port. Retrace the passage used to reach the ship and head back toward the engine-port area. If you have moved into another section of the Frigate, use the ship’s exterior landmarks to orient yourself toward the engine route.
- Descend to the lower exterior wing. Continue down from the engine port until you reach the lower exterior wing. This is the intermediate level between the ship’s engine area and the rear docking bay; do not jump from an arbitrary edge and hope to land on the map.
- Follow the wing to the rear dock. From the lower exterior wing, keep moving toward the rear of the ship. The documented route ends at the rear docking bay, where a Reclaimer can be used for the descent.
- Board a Reclaimer at the dock. Use the vehicle’s interaction prompt when it is available. The guides describe riding the Reclaimer down, not disrupting it. Disrupting a Reclaimer is the action associated with using one to travel toward the Frigate, so do not repeat that action on the return trip.
- Stay with the descent until touchdown. Allow the Reclaimer to carry you back to the ground. Keep the camera and movement under control while the vehicle is in transit, and avoid treating the first visible ground surface as an extraction point.
- Leave the landing area and reach an active extraction. After touchdown, open the map and identify an extraction point that is currently active in the host map. Travel there and complete the normal extraction process. The Frigate descent is only transportation; it does not cash out the raid by itself.
Why the rear dock is the key landmark
The lower wing and rear docking bay form the documented handoff between the Frigate and the map. If you are still on an upper deck, near the initial approach point, or beside a random exterior edge, you have not reached the described return route. Retracing the engine path is safer than improvising a drop because it leads to a known vehicle location and avoids assuming that every visible platform connects to the ground.
Ride the vehicle; do not disrupt it
The same vehicle has two different roles. On the way up, a player climbs or grapples onto a Reclaimer and interacts to disrupt it so it flies toward the ship. On the way down, the documented instruction is to board a Reclaimer at the rear dock and ride it without disrupting it. Confusing those actions can leave you waiting for a vehicle to perform the opposite journey or can remove the transport you needed.

What to do immediately after landing
Touchdown changes your position, not your raid status. Once the Reclaimer has brought you down, take a moment to establish where you are on the host map, then choose an active extraction rather than heading toward a point that is unavailable or inactive.
- Confirm your location. Use the map and surrounding landmarks to determine which side of the host map you reached.
- Check extraction status. An extraction must be active for the final exit; the Frigate’s rear dock is not a substitute.
- Choose a practical route. The shortest line is not automatically the safest. Account for the distance from the landing area and any obstacles you can identify on the live map.
- Keep the distinction clear. If you are moving through the map after touchdown, the raid is still in progress until the normal extraction completes.
Guides do not provide a universal extraction name, fixed extraction timer, or map-independent route from every possible landing position. Those details can vary with the host map and current build, so follow the active marker and the live interface rather than an old screenshot or a fixed timing claim.
Cargo descent: a second option, not a replacement for extraction
Another current guide describes descending with a cargo drop. It presents that method as an alternative way to get back to the map, not as a replacement for the rear-dock Reclaimer route. The essential rule remains unchanged: a cargo drop ends with you on the map, and you must still reach a regular extraction point afterward.
The cargo option is therefore most useful when the documented rear-dock path is inaccessible or when the live environment makes the vehicle route impractical. Because the available evidence does not establish a universal cargo interaction sequence, launch timing, or guaranteed cargo availability, use the prompts and objects that actually appear in your run. Do not assume that every Frigate instance offers the same drop or that a cargo landing automatically completes the raid.

Reclaimer versus cargo descent
| Descent method | How you reach it | Route clarity | What happens after landing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rear-dock Reclaimer | Retrace the engine port route to the lower exterior wing and rear docking bay, then ride a Reclaimer down without disrupting it. | The clearest documented recommendation in the current guides. | Reach an active extraction on the host map; the vehicle ride is not extraction. |
| Cargo descent | Use the cargo descent described by the guide when that option is available in the live Frigate instance. | An alternative route with fewer confirmed interface and availability details. | Reach an active extraction on the host map; the cargo drop is not extraction. |
If you can safely return to the rear docking bay, the Reclaimer route is the better default because its landmarks and purpose are described more clearly. Consider cargo only when the run presents it as a viable alternative and you understand that the ground travel and extraction phase still remain.
Troubleshooting the return trip
You cannot find the engine port
Stop searching random exterior edges and retrace the route from the interior side of the Frigate. The documented sequence is engine port first, lower exterior wing second, rear docking bay third. If you have reached an upper platform but cannot identify the lower wing, move back toward the engine area and descend through the established route rather than making an unplanned jump.
The lower wing is visible, but the rear dock is not
Continue along the wing toward the rear of the ship. The rear dock is the destination named by the guides, so a platform that merely looks close to the ground is not an equivalent guarantee. Use the ship’s rearward geometry and the available traversal prompts to confirm that you are moving toward the docking bay.

A Reclaimer is present, but the wrong action appears
Remember the role distinction: disrupting a Reclaimer is described for the upward trip to the Frigate, while the return instruction is to board and ride it down without disrupting it. If the vehicle does not present the expected interaction, reposition yourself at the dock and read the live prompt. Exact button labels have not been confirmed as fixed across current builds.

No Reclaimer is available at the dock
Do not assume that a missing vehicle proves the route is impossible. Recheck that you are at the rear docking bay rather than another lower-wing platform, then inspect the live environment for the cargo descent option described by the alternative guide. Vehicle availability and spawn timing are not established as universal facts, so avoid waiting for an unverified timer.
You landed, but the raid did not end
This is expected if you have not completed a map extraction. Open the host-map view, locate an extraction point that is active now, and travel there. Neither the Reclaimer touchdown nor a cargo landing counts as the final exit.
The extraction point is not active
Choose another active extraction shown by the current map state instead of repeatedly returning to the Frigate. The guides establish the need for an active point but do not identify one permanent location that works for every map condition.

Community discussion mentions floating platforms as a possible way down, but that report is anecdotal and is not presented as an official or guaranteed method. Treat it as an experiment only if you are prepared to lose the run. The documented rear-dock Reclaimer route remains the dependable starting point, with cargo as the described alternative.

A practical decision flow for a live run
Use this sequence when deciding whether to continue inside the Frigate or leave immediately:
- Is the Frigate condition active? If not, the encounter may not be available on the selected map rotation.
- Can you reach the engine port? If yes, retrace the route toward the lower exterior wing.
- Can you reach the rear docking bay? If yes, use the Reclaimer route and ride down without disrupting the vehicle.
- Is the rear dock inaccessible but a cargo descent is available? Use the cargo option only with the understanding that it places you on the map and does not extract you.
- After landing, is an extraction active? If yes, follow the map to that point. If no, reassess the live map for another active exit.
This flow prevents the two most consequential mistakes: improvising a jump before reaching the documented dock and leaving the landing area without a plan for the final extraction.
What is confirmed, and what can change
The route landmarks and the need for a post-landing extraction are described by recently published game guides, not by official patch notes. Exact button prompts, Reclaimer spawn timing, and map-specific vehicle availability have not been confirmed as fixed current-build rules. The Frigate condition itself is rotation-dependent, with the official site showing it for Pendola Pass on October 13, 2026.

For that reason, use the article’s route as a navigation framework rather than a promise that every run will present identical objects, prompts, or timing. The stable principles are the route order—engine port, lower exterior wing, rear docking bay—the instruction to ride the Reclaimer without disrupting it, and the requirement to complete a normal extraction after reaching the ground.
Quick Recap
Quick checklist
- Verify the Frigate condition on the current map rotation.
- Retrace the engine-port route.
- Descend to the lower exterior wing.
- Continue to the rear docking bay.
- Board a Reclaimer and ride it down without disrupting it.
- After touchdown, open the host-map view.
- Travel to an active extraction point and complete the raid exit.
- If using cargo instead, remember that cargo descent still requires normal extraction.
