You can get Cyberpunk 2077 free on the Epic Games Store only if Epic is running an official giveaway for it. Check Epic’s Free Games page: if the game is not listed there as a free offer, there is no supported way to claim it free through Epic right now.
Check whether Cyberpunk 2077 is currently free on Epic
Open Epic’s official Free Games page and look for Cyberpunk 2077 specifically. Epic says, “Epic Games Store gives you a free game every week,” but that does not mean this particular paid game is included in a weekly promotion.

The retrieved Epic listing for Cyberpunk 2077 showed the base game as a paid product, with a US listing price of $59.99 in the 2026 storefront snapshot. The listing also surfaced a 70% sale price of $17.99 ending September 17, 2026; that date has passed, so do not treat that discount as current. Check the live Epic listing for today’s price and availability.
How to claim it if Epic is giving it away
- Visit Epic’s Free Games page and confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 is explicitly marked as a free offer.
- Open the offer and follow the claim instructions shown there before its stated deadline. Use the Epic account that should own the game.
- Read any region or account conditions displayed on the offer itself; eligibility details can depend on the offer, and there is no universal rule established here.
What if Cyberpunk 2077 is not on the Free Games page?
If the game is absent from the current official offers, the available evidence does not establish a free Epic claim for it. The paid product listing is not evidence of a future giveaway, and a past sale or an older search result is not the same as a free promotion. Recheck Epic’s page for current offers rather than relying on predictions or third-party claims.

If an official claim fails
Use Epic’s official store redemption troubleshooting guidance. If the error continues after following the guidance, Epic Support advises opening a support ticket.
A temporary Epic giveaway is different from a free-to-play game: the giveaway must name Cyberpunk 2077 as a free offer and be claimed within its stated window. Unofficial key sellers, account sharing, and payment-bypass tricks do not provide an official Epic free-game entitlement.
