Where does Doom of Chelchis drop?
Doom of Chelchis is a King’s Fall raid reward, not a world drop or vendor purchase in the available loot information. The precise encounter list is not consistent across published guides: recent secondary tables place the rifle in the opening encounter and Totems rewards, while other tables list it elsewhere. Check the in-game reward display for the current encounter pool rather than relying on a fixed list from an older guide. Blueberries.gg’s King’s Fall loot table is one secondary reference; encounter availability can change.

Once you find an eligible encounter, complete it and claim its randomized reward. You may need multiple clears, since a run does not guarantee Doom of Chelchis. Review the live reward display and any activity modifiers before farming. Light.gg’s activity information can also help identify raid rewards, but the in-game display is the best current check.
Can you craft Doom of Chelchis?
Crafting is a separate route from getting a random usable drop, and it depends on the weapon still being craftable in the current game build. Bungie’s Weapon Crafting Guide explains that only craftable weapons drop with Deepsight for pattern progress. If Doom of Chelchis is currently craftable, eligible Deepsight copies can advance its pattern; once the pattern is unlocked, shape the weapon at the Relic in the Enclave.

The guide does not establish Doom of Chelchis’s current pattern requirement or any weapon-specific red-border guarantee. Check the weapon’s current in-game pattern information rather than assuming a particular number of copies or weekly purchase rule. Bungie’s 2023 crafting article describes red borders as the visual cue for valuable Deepsight weapons, but it does not confirm the rifle’s current pattern status.
Should you farm a random drop or pursue the pattern?

Bungie’s May 2024 communication included King’s Fall Adepts among weapons eligible for enhancement under the system described at that time, with eligibility tied to active drops and weapon-instance conditions. That historical statement does not confirm whether standard Doom of Chelchis, or a particular Adept instance, is eligible in the October 2026 game build. Check the current weapon interface and Bungie’s weapon enhancement update for the relevant conditions.
