To unlock Ending B, complete the priestess questline, obtain and equip Lilia’s Blighted Ring, then defeat Gilroy in his strengthened Absolute form. You can do this on the same save after seeing Ending A; there’s no need to start a new playthrough.
Ending B’s requirement
The ending is determined by whether Lilia’s Blighted Ring is equipped when you defeat the final boss. Kamigame’s ending conditions identify an unequipped-ring defeat as Ending A and a defeat with the ring equipped as Ending B, titled “The End and the Beginning.” Kamigame’s ending guide lists the ring condition; Insider Gaming identifies the boss encounter as Gilroy, the Administrator (Absolute Form).

How to get Lilia’s Blighted Ring
The route involves the Land of Origin and a sequence of item hand-ins and character interactions. The guides differ slightly in how they spell the knight’s name—Reibolg and Reiborg—so check the name shown in your game’s localization.
- See Ending A, then continue from your save. This is a straightforward way to reach the post-ending route. Kamigame reports that you can return to just before the final boss after an ending and view the other ending on the same save.
- Return to the red flower in Crimson Forest and enter the Land of Origin. The post-ending sequence makes the previously inactive flower relevant to the route. Insider Gaming’s walkthrough describes this transition.
- Get the Stele of the Land of Origin and Blighted Pupil. Rubin gives you the Stele in the Land of Origin. The Blighted Pupil comes after the Mad Knight Reibolg/Reiborg fight there; Insider Gaming places the encounter in the area’s third part, reached through the Crystalline Realm.
- Continue the quest through the NPCs and flowers. Take the items through the sequence involving Levy, the church in Sorcerer’s Academy, Crimson Forest, and Lilia. At the Central Stratum – Central City flower, the two items trigger a scene and lead to the Faintly-glowing Aegis Curio. - Receive Lilia’s Blighted Ring and equip it. Follow the quest through its conclusion with Lilia. Before entering the final fight, confirm the ring is equipped; merely having it in your inventory does not meet the stated Ending B condition.
- Defeat Gilroy in Absolute form. With the ring equipped, win the strengthened final-boss encounter to see Ending B.
Can you get Ending B after Ending A?
Yes. Kamigame says an ending returns you to a point before the final boss, allowing you to change the relic condition and fight again on the same save. Ending A therefore does not permanently lock you out of Ending B.

What to check if Ending B does not appear
- Check the equipped relic: Lilia’s Blighted Ring must be equipped for the final-boss defeat.
- Check the boss form: the required target is the strengthened Gilroy encounter, also described as the Administrator in Absolute Form.
- Finish the quest sequence: collecting the Stele and Blighted Pupil alone is not the final requirement; complete the related interactions until you receive the ring.
