The documented way to get Golden Goose in Grow a Garden is to hatch it from a Sprout Egg, which community guides list with a 1% chance. That route came from the limited Beanstalk Event and may no longer be available: check your live game for an active event or a way to obtain Sprout Eggs before trying it.
Check whether Golden Goose is obtainable now
Golden Goose is a limited Divine pet introduced on August 16, 2025, during the Beanstalk Event. Its community guide lists the pet as unobtainable while also naming the Sprout Egg as its hatching method. Those details describe the historical route, not proof that the event or egg is currently available. The available guides do not establish Golden Goose’s status in the live game on October 5, 2026.
Look in your game for the Beanstalk Event or a current source for Sprout Eggs. If neither is active, the guides provide no confirmed current way to get Golden Goose. They also do not establish trading, a marketplace, or another event as an alternative. Don’t mistake Golden Goose for a different Goose pet.
How the documented Sprout Egg route worked
If Sprout Eggs are obtainable in your game, the documented route is to hatch one. Community guides list a 1% chance per Sprout Egg; each egg is an attempt, not a guarantee.

The pet’s listed ability, Golden Laying, periodically places a Golden Egg plant in your garden with the Fortune mutation. The guide gives an approximate cooldown range of 13:08 to 5:00 minutes; treat that timing as version-dependent rather than a fixed guarantee. Selling the Golden Egg may apply Fortune to a random fruit in the garden. This is a passive pet effect, not a seed you plant yourself.
