In Blox Fruits, “Haki” usually means one of two abilities: Aura or Instinct. Buy Aura from the Ability Teacher for 25,000 Beli at Frozen Village or Magma Village. To unlock Instinct, reach level 300, complete the Saber Puzzle, and pay 750,000 Beli to the Instinct Teacher in Upper Skylands.
Which Haki do you want?
The game’s guides use the names Aura and Instinct. Aura was formerly called Enhancement and is often called Armament Haki by players; Instinct was formerly called Observation or Ken. Their unlocks and training methods are different.

How to get Aura
- Travel to Frozen Village or Magma Village and find the Ability Teacher. At Frozen Village, the teacher is in a cave.
- Speak with the teacher and buy Aura for 25,000 Beli. The cited Aura guide does not list a level requirement.
- Activate Aura during combat. The guide lists J on PC, Down on the D-pad on console, and the fist button on mobile.
Aura improves damage and defense, and can let attacks bypass an Elemental Fruit’s Elemental Reflex. The in-game inventory description reproduced by the guide begins, “A solid power wraps around your body…”

How to train Aura
Leave Aura active and deal damage with a sword, gun, or fighting style, or take hits while it is active. The listed damage-training method does not count attacks made with Blox Fruits. Aura has five stages, and stage progress is not announced automatically, so you may need to check your character as you train. The exact details are in the Aura guide.
How to get Instinct (Observation Haki)
- Reach level 300 or higher.
- Complete the Saber Puzzle. The cited Instinct guide says the teacher will not teach the ability if either this puzzle or the level requirement is unmet.
- Bring 750,000 Beli.
- Go to Upper Skylands in the First Sea. A guide dated September 24, 2026, places the teacher atop the large temple on the second sub-island.
- Speak with the Instinct Teacher and pay 750,000 Beli to unlock the ability.

How to train Instinct
Keep Instinct active and successfully dodge incoming attacks to gain EXP. The cited guide says the teacher can show your accumulated EXP. Instinct helps you dodge certain attacks and detect entities through solid surfaces; it does not mean every attack can be avoided.

What to do if an unlock step fails
- The Aura teacher will not sell it: Check that you have 25,000 Beli and are speaking with the Ability Teacher at one of the listed villages.
- The Instinct teacher refuses: Confirm that you are at least level 300 and have completed the Saber Puzzle before trying to buy the ability.
