Harlequin Crest, commonly called Shako, can drop from any Uber boss in Diablo IV Season 15. The current item database says all Uber bosses have the same chance, and no number of kills guarantees the helm. Farm the Uber boss your character can defeat efficiently, and treat each kill as another chance—not a promise.
Where Harlequin Crest drops in Season 15
The Season 15 item database lists Harlequin Crest as a Mythic Unique that can drop from any Uber boss at the same rate. It does not identify a boss with a better current-season chance. This is item-specific guidance from D4Guides.gg, updated September 27, 2026 for patch 3.2.1, rather than an official Blizzard drop-rate announcement. See the Harlequin Crest entry.

The database also says the helm cannot be farmed on purpose. In practical terms, you can choose to repeatedly fight Uber bosses, but you cannot target a particular kill to make Harlequin Crest appear. The source gives neither a drop percentage nor an expected number of kills.

Which Uber boss should you farm?
Because the current item entry reports equal chances, choose the Uber boss your character can defeat most efficiently. Your build, available materials, and ability to complete the encounter matter more to your farming routine than choosing a supposedly superior Shako boss. The available Season 15 source does not establish a best boss beyond that equal-rate guidance.

Repeated kills give you repeated opportunities, but there is no verified guaranteed run count. A streak without a drop does not establish that the next kill is due to produce one.
Why old Duriel and Andariel advice may mislead
Blizzard’s Diablo IV 2.0 patch notes said Duriel and Andariel did not guarantee a Mythic item, but had twice the chance of other Tormented bosses to drop one. That was a statement about the 2.0-era system, not confirmation of the current Season 15 rates. The newer Season 15 item entry instead says any Uber boss can drop Harlequin Crest at the same rate. Can you craft Harlequin Crest instead?
Blizzard’s 2.0 notes described crafting a specific Mythic Unique with Resplendent Sparks and item-specific Runes. However, the current sources do not establish that this recipe remains available in Season 15, so it should be treated as historical rather than a confirmed alternative to boss drops. Blizzard’s 2026 Season of Reckoning preview lists Resplendent Sparks among Season Rank rewards, but that alone does not verify that the older specific-item recipe still works.
If you are considering crafting, check the current in-game crafting interface and Season 15 patch information before spending materials. The available sources do not confirm the present recipe, its material requirements, or whether it lets you select Harlequin Crest.

Use current difficulty guidance
Difficulty progression has changed since the 2024 guides. Blizzard’s 2024 overview described four Torment levels and older Pit unlock thresholds, while its 2026 Season of Reckoning preview says the Torment range expanded from four levels to twelve. Those older thresholds should not be copied as Season 15 instructions. Use the unlock guidance shown in-game for your current character and patch. The current item entry records Harlequin Crest’s effect as “Gain +6 Rank to all Skills.” The helm is a Mythic Unique, but the current source does not publish a probability or a reliable estimate of how many Uber boss kills it takes to obtain one. Plan your farming around the encounters you can repeat, not around a promised drop schedule.
