Look for small fruit trees and wicker baskets: Blue Gate’s Olive Grove is a reported place to find both lemons and apricots, with the gardens between Library and Town Hall in Buried City as another option. Search beneath trees and interact when a prompt appears to shake loose more fruit. Spawns vary, so no route guarantees a particular haul.
Where to find lemons and apricots
Blue Gate: Olive Grove
The Olive Grove is a reported joint route for both fruits. Search the trees and the ground around them, and interact with a tree if the prompt appears. Other Raiders may also be drawn to the area, so be prepared for competition. PC Gamer’s location guide describes the grove and nearby fruit sources.
Buried City: gardens between Library and Town Hall
The gardens between Library and Town Hall are another reported place to look for both. An extraction metro is nearby, but buildings and ARC activity can make the surrounding area dangerous. PC Gamer identifies this as an alternative route.
Dam Battlegrounds: an alternate area
Older guides point to forest or swamp areas west of Water Treatment Control, near South Swamp Outpost. Treat this as a secondary option: the advice may predate map or game changes, and the guides differ on exact locations. Check the current map before committing to this route. See TheGamer’s guide and Sportskeeda’s location guide.

Wicker baskets
Check wicker baskets in residential and nature areas as you loot. Santa Maria Houses is one reported residential location where baskets may contain lemons, apricots, or other fruit. PC Gamer and the community lemon reference describe baskets as another possible source.
How to search fruit trees efficiently
- Check for Lush Blooms. If the event is active on your chosen map, guides report increased fruit availability. They do not give a dependable spawn-rate figure, so treat it as a favorable condition rather than a guarantee. PC Gamer, TheGamer, and Sportskeeda mention the event.
- Search the tree and its base. Fruit can spawn on the ground, but not beneath every tree. Circle a tree if you do not see anything at first.
- Interact when prompted. Shaking a tree may drop additional fruit, although the prompt does not always appear. The community lemon reference and community apricot reference describe variable ground spawns and possible interaction drops.
- Check nearby baskets, then weigh the exit. Popular gathering areas can bring player traffic as well as ARC threats. Choose a route according to your risk tolerance; the available guides do not establish one location as universally safest.
- Protect a valuable haul if you can. If your loadout has a safe pocket, consider placing fruit there before heading to extraction. PC Gamer recommends this because a failed extraction can put carried items at risk.
What lemons and apricots are used for
Both fruits are listed as ingredients for Fruit Mix and as materials connected to Scrappy progression. A 2025 guide also lists lemons for the Unexpected Initiative quest. Embark’s Flashpoint patch notes, dated March 31, 2026, list “Scrappy Feeding Boost” as a new feature, but do not specify fruit rewards or item quantities. The lemon reference, the apricot reference, TheGamer, and Embark’s Flashpoint update notes cover these uses.

Check Scrappy requirements in-game
Published guides disagree about the fruit needed for Scrappy III: the community wiki lists three lemons and three apricots, while 2025 guides list five of each. The official Flashpoint notes confirm a Scrappy Feeding Boost feature but do not settle those upgrade quantities. Check the requirement shown in your current game before spending or storing fruit for an upgrade. The lemon reference, TheGamer, Sportskeeda, and Embark’s update notes reflect the differing information.
