To hire more dealers in Schedule 1, progress through the game’s ranks, check your phone’s Contacts app for dealer-tagged contacts, and build the relationship needed to get an introduction. Then visit the dealer at the listed location and pay the hiring fee. Dealer access is tied to progression and contacts—not just cash.
How to unlock and hire another dealer
- Check your phone’s Contacts app. Look for unknown contacts tagged as dealers. Exploring the map and meeting people can reveal contacts for dealers in different areas, according to Prima Games.
- Progress through ranks and regions. The latest detailed roster reference lists one dealer in each of six regions, with a specific rank requirement for each. You cannot hire a dealer until you meet that requirement.
- Build the relevant connection. A community-authored guide reports that befriending at least one customer connected to a dealer can trigger an introduction text. Treat this as guide-reported advice, not official confirmation; the Steam guide currently displays a removal notice.
- Travel to the dealer and pay the fee. Use the listed location below as a destination, then speak with the dealer and pay the one-time hiring fee.
- Assign customers in Dealer Management. After hiring, use the Dealer Management app on your phone to assign customers. The customer limit differs between guides, so check the number shown in your own game build.
The roster and mechanics below come from an unofficial fan reference that says it checked Early Access build v0.4.6f12 on August 11, 2026. A later patch may change ranks, locations, fees, or other details.
Dealer roster: ranks, locations, and hiring fees
| Dealer | Area and listed location | Required rank | Listed fee | Reported cut |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Benji Coleman | Northtown, Motel Room #2 | Street Rat V | $500 | 20% |
| Molly Presley | Westville, Brown Apartment Block, Room #1 | Hoodlum I | $1,000 | 20% |
| Brad Crosby | Downtown, parking garage tent | Hustler I | $2,000 | 20% |
| Jane Lucero | The Docks, RV west of the police checkpoint | Enforcer I | $3,000 | 20% |
| Wei Long | Suburbia, wooden shack northeast of Hyland Auto | Block Boss I | $4,000 | 20% |
| Leo Rivers | Uptown, shipping container beside the church | Baron I | $5,000 | 20% |
These roster details are reported by the unofficial Schedule 1 Guide, checked against build v0.4.6f12 on August 11, 2026. The reference lists six dealers total—one per region—and reports a 20% cut for each. The fees are hiring costs, not the ongoing share; confirm them in your own build if you are playing a later version.
How many customers can a dealer take?
Sources disagree: the roster reference says a dealer can hold up to 10 customers, while acknowledging that some guides report 8. A Steam Community guide also describes a 10-customer maximum and attributes the change from 8 to v0.4.3, but that page now displays a removal notice. Check Dealer Management in your game for the current limit rather than assuming one cap applies to every build.

Is hiring every dealer worth it?
The roster guide’s strategy recommendation is to assign lower- and medium-spending customers to dealers and handle high-value customers yourself. That is advice rather than a guaranteed best strategy: the guide reports the same 20% cut for all six, so weigh the convenience of delegating against the share each dealer takes from assigned customers.

- Dealer contact missing: Recheck Contacts after exploring the relevant region and meeting people there.
- Introduction not received: The community guide says to befriend at least one of that dealer’s listed customer connections, then wait for a text. This is community-reported guidance, not developer-confirmed behavior.
- Cannot hire: Compare your current rank with the roster requirement and make sure you can cover the listed fee.
- Location or requirements seem wrong: The published roster was checked on August 11, 2026 against Early Access build v0.4.6f12; later updates may have changed the mechanics.
For the contact-discovery approach, see Prima Games’ dealer unlock guide. The community’s location and customer details are in its Steam guide, which currently displays a removal notice.
