Claim idle rewards regularly
A BlueStacks guide lists account experience, Hero EXP, equipment, shards, and diamonds among idle rewards. It also says the claimable idle period is limited. Advance the story
A Pocket Gamer beginner guide recommends pushing story stages as far as practical before farming at a difficult stage. The guides connect progression with the idle-reward loop, so clearing another stage may improve the rewards you can accumulate. Do daily and weekly quests, and check events
The Pocket Gamer guide also recommends completing daily and weekly quests and participating in events for summon-related currencies and other rewards. Event schedules and contents rotate; inspect the event and quest screens in your client for the actual reward and requirements before planning around them.
Review summon and shop rewards before spending
Summons, event summons, and shop offers are described as possible ways to obtain heroes, shards, or progression rewards. Treat those mentions as general guidance, not a current offer list: banners, guarantees, costs, and available items can change. Before using premium currency, check whether the current banner has a guarantee and whether its featured hero fits your team.
Shards, EXP, and ascension do different jobs
Do not treat every upgrade resource as a shard. The guides distinguish hero acquisition or star progression from leveling: Hero EXP is used to level a hero, while ascension raises star rank and requires duplicate hero copies and materials. They do not establish exact shard requirements or shard-to-hero conversion costs.

The same guide describes ascension as using material heroes to raise a hero’s star rank. It reports that the main hero retains its state and that development resources are returned after ascension. Since these rules come from a third-party guide published in 2025, verify the confirmation screen and refund details in your current client before committing heroes or materials.

Use rebirth only after checking the refund
The guide also reports a rebirth option that resets a hero to level one and refunds invested resources. This can let players redirect development, but the exact availability and refund rules are not verified for every current version. Read the in-game confirmation carefully before using it.
How to prioritize upgrades
Pocket Gamer advises focusing investment on one strong hero at a time while building a useful core team and advancing the story. This is a beginner-guide recommendation, not a tested universal optimization. A practical approach is to favor heroes currently helping you clear stages, then review your team and resource costs before spreading upgrades across additional heroes.

Availability and what is not confirmed
A Pocket Gamer tier-list update dated October 5, 2026 reports that Gods & Demons had been removed from the App Store and Google Play and that the list would no longer be updated: Pocket Gamer tier list. That report does not settle availability in every country, distribution through other channels, or access for people who already installed the game. Check your regional storefront or official Com2uS channels for current availability.

The available guides do not establish exact shard costs, drop rates, current event rotations, or comparative yields for shard sources. If your client presents multiple options, compare their shard or hero yield, resource cost, repeatability, time or daily limit, and whether the reward is guaranteed or random using the details it shows.
