On PC, you can use Farming Simulator 25’s developer console to add money to a save, then repeat the command as needed. The setup described in PC guides involves enabling developer mode and adding -cheats to Steam’s launch options. There’s an unresolved spelling difference between guides for the money command, so check what your installed version accepts with console autocomplete or help before running it. PS5 and Xbox players can instead look for the Government Subsidy mod in the in-game ModHub; it provides recurring income, not unlimited cash.
What “infinite money” means in FS25
The console method adds a chosen amount to your balance; it is not a documented toggle that makes money literally unlimited. Repeating the command can keep increasing your funds. The instructions below are for PC and draw on third-party guides, not an official GIANTS Software how-to. The exact file setting and command behavior may vary with your game build, keyboard layout, and how you installed the game.

PC Gamer reports these starting balances for the three new-game modes: €100,000 for New Farmer, €500,000 for Start from Scratch, and €1,000,000 for Farm Manager. Those are starting funds, not amounts granted by the console command.
How to add money with the developer console on PC
- Enable developer mode. Open
Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/game.xml. In the guide’s instructions, change the developer-mode setting fromfalsetotrue, then save the file. The path and setting may differ on another system or game build. - Add the launch option in Steam. In your Steam Library, right-click Farming Simulator 25 and open Properties. Enter
-cheatsin Launch Options. - Open a save and bring up the console. Start the game or load your save. PC Gamer’s guide says to tap the tilde key twice to open the command-entry console. Keyboard layouts differ, so the key may not be labeled or positioned the same way on your keyboard.
- Check the command spelling, then enter an amount. PC Gamer gives
gsAddMoney 100000as an example, while the FarmSimGame.com command reference listsgsMoneyAdd. Type the beginning of the money command and use the in-game autocomplete or help output to confirm the accepted spelling in your version before executing it. If accepted, the example amount is 100,000 in-game currency units.
If the console does not open or the command is rejected, check that -cheats is in Steam’s Launch Options, confirm the developer-mode setting was saved, and rely on the game’s own autocomplete or help rather than assuming either third-party spelling is correct.

Console-friendly alternative: Government Subsidy mod
If you play on PS5 or Xbox Series, the PC command setup above is not established as available for your platform. The GIANTS Software ModHub lists the FS25 Government Subsidy mod by Realismus Modding for PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series, and S2. Its listed annual rates are:

The ModHub listing says subsidy benefits are currently granted only in sunny weather. The listing also notes that user-generated content belongs to its creators and that GIANTS Software and its co-publisher/distributor are not responsible for the content or damage it may cause.

Which method should you use?
- PC, immediate balance increase: Try the developer-console method if you are comfortable changing the configuration and Steam launch option. Confirm the command in your own build because its spelling differs between references.
- PS5 or Xbox Series, recurring income: Check the in-game ModHub for Government Subsidy and verify that it is currently available and compatible. Its payouts are annual and depend on sunny weather, rather than being an instant money command.
PC Gamer’s instructions are secondary guidance, and the command reference is non-official; neither establishes that the same command spelling or setup works in every FS25 version. The ModHub listing is the source for the mod’s stated rates and platform support.
