What MoreRVers changes
MoreRVers is a runtime mod that uses UE4SS to change the game’s default multiplayer player cap. The project says it does not permanently modify game files, and documents a configurable range of 1–24 players. Option 1: Install the package with UE4SS included
- Download the “With-UE4SS” package, which includes UE4SS experimental and MoreRVers preconfigured.
- Extract the package into the game’s
Ride/Ride/Binaries/Win64directory, as directed by the project README.
Option 2: Install MoreRVers into an existing UE4SS setup
- Confirm that UE4SS experimental version 3.0.1 or later is installed.
- Download the “Mod-Only” package and extract MoreRVers into the UE4SS Mods directory.
- Enable MoreRVers in
mods.txt.
These are the project’s documented steps; they are not a guarantee that the package will work with every game version.

- Open the MoreRVers configuration file and find
MaxPlayers. - Set the value to a whole number from 1 to 24. The documented default is 8, which the project recommends for optimal stability.
- Save the configuration and restart the game. A restart is required for a changed value to take effect.
Version and compatibility notes
Thunderstore listed MoreRVers version 1.1.0 as its latest package on October 8, 2026. A latest package listing does not establish compatibility with every current game build. Check the project’s listing and instructions for updates before installing.
MorePlayerLobby is a separate project with a different approach to the player cap. Its repository states a maximum of 24 and identifies game build 1.0.14337 as its tested version; it cautions that newer versions are not guaranteed to work. Those compatibility notes apply to MorePlayerLobby, not MoreRVers, and do not establish that either mod has equivalent behavior or stability on current builds. MorePlayerLobby repository
