Is this the only Mothman recipe?
No. Gdon + Nigi Mitama is a convenient documented pair, but the fusion reference shows multiple combinations that can produce Mothman. If you use a different pair, check the fusion result in the Velvet Room before confirming.
Does Mothman need to be a certain level?
Mothman’s base level is 33. If you are following the Empress Social Link walkthrough to fuse Hitokoto-Nushi next, that guide says to keep Mothman at a higher level than Neko Shogun. This level comparison applies to the later fusion, not to creating Mothman.

Do you need a skill card to get Mothman?
No skill card is required simply to fuse Mothman. The walkthrough mentions skill cards as an alternative way to obtain skills needed elsewhere in its Social Link sequence.
