That does not establish that the developers have permanently retired it, and the sources available do not confirm a return date.
Are Oni Tokens available in Blox Fruits now?
According to the unofficial Blox Fruits Wiki’s Oni Token entry, Oni Tokens are unavailable because the Red King Event and 50B Celebration Event have ended. The entry is a fan-maintained source, not an official developer announcement, so it does not prove the currency is permanently gone. No source cited here establishes whether or when the event might return.
That means the old farming instructions below are historical event mechanics, not steps you can rely on today. An event-era guide described entering the Oni Realm by selecting the red Oni icon on the in-game compass and following it to an Oni NPC, but that route should not be treated as active while the event is over. Beebom’s guide, updated August 31, 2025, documents that earlier route.
How players earned Oni Tokens during the event
The unofficial wiki reports three ways to earn tokens while the event mechanics were available. The figures below are reported game values from the wiki, not independently verified drop-rate testing.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
| Past method | Reported reward | What it involved |
|---|---|---|
| Defeat Oni Soldiers | 10 Oni Tokens per drop | Fight Oni Soldiers for their reported token drop. |
| Defeat the Red Commander | 300 Oni Tokens per drop | Defeat the event boss for the larger reported combat reward. |
| Exchange Corrupted Fish | 10–200 Oni Tokens, depending on rarity | Give Corrupted Fish to the Oni Fisherman; reported values by rarity are listed below. |
The Oni Token entry lists these Corrupted Fish exchange values:
- Common: 10 tokens
- Uncommon: 20 tokens
- Rare: 50 tokens
- Legendary: 100 tokens
- Mythical: 200 tokens
The same entry also says a Red Gacha roll could award 250 Oni Tokens. That was a possible reward rather than a predictable farming method; the Red Gacha page reports that a roll cost 250 tokens. The Red Gacha entry says the event is over and its NPC is unavailable.

What Oni Tokens were used for
During the event, the reported uses included crafting the Corrupted Shark fishing rod for 500 Oni Tokens and rolling the Red Gacha for 250 tokens per roll. These historical costs come from the Oni Token entry and the Red Gacha entry; they are not current purchase options while the event and NPC are unavailable.
