To be considered for Pokémon Center Invite Only, subscribe to the Pokémon Center newsletter using the email address where you want to receive an invitation. Selection is limited and the criteria are not public, so subscribing does not guarantee access. If selected, follow the unique link in your invitation, sign in or register with the same email address, and check out before the link expires and while stock remains.
How Pokémon Center Invite Only works
Pokémon Center describes Invite Only, formerly called Early Access, as a way for selected customers to purchase popular items before they are more widely released. The program can apply to any item, including preorders; that does not mean every Pokémon TCG product will use it. See the Pokémon Center Invite Only FAQ, updated October 6, 2026.
Pokémon Center says selected newsletter subscribers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom may receive invitations. It does not publish its selection criteria or an invitation rate. Not all subscribers qualify, and meeting the undisclosed criteria still does not guarantee selection.
What to do to be considered
- Subscribe to the Pokémon Center newsletter. Use the email address you want associated with a possible invitation. Pokémon Center does not disclose another action that improves selection odds.
- Check that email for an invitation. A selected customer receives an email with a unique link and its expiration date. Not receiving one for a particular offer does not rule out a future invitation.
- Use the invitation link with the matching email. Sign in to your Pokémon Center account or register using the email address that received the invitation.
- Complete checkout before the deadline. The link can be used once, and the product is available only while supplies last and before the invitation expires.
Do not create multiple newsletter subscriptions or use different email addresses to try to improve your odds. Pokémon Center says this does not increase the likelihood of selection and may result in an invitation being voided. The invitation is personal, cannot be transferred, and may be disabled if Pokémon Center suspects misuse or a policy violation.

Use one browser and device for checkout
Pokémon Center recommends opening the invitation, shopping, and checking out on one device and in one browser. Using multiple devices or browsers may interfere with completing the purchase. An invitation does not reserve an item, so stock may run out even before the expiration date.
Invite Only is not the virtual queue
Invite Only is an invitation-based opportunity to buy a specific item. The virtual queue manages access to the Pokémon Center website during periods of high traffic. Being placed in a queue does not necessarily mean a product is launching, and reaching the site does not guarantee the product is in stock. Pokémon Center’s virtual queue guidance, updated October 15, 2025, says to keep the queue window open and wait for automatic redirection.

- If you are in the queue, do not refresh the page, open multiple queue tabs, or try alternate links or workarounds; these will not bypass the queue and may cause errors.
- If you have an invitation, use its unique link and the email-matched account. Queue entry is a separate process from invitation eligibility.
If you do not get an invitation or the item sells out
Check the official product page and participating retailers for current availability. Pokémon Support says it is working to print more and reprint affected Pokémon TCG products, with reprints expected at participating retailers. Its product availability update, updated May 26, 2026, does not promise a return date for a particular item.
Buying Pokémon TCG booster packs or another product from a retailer does not create or improve Pokémon Center Invite Only access. Separately, Pokémon Center’s preorder FAQ, updated August 13, 2026, says select merchandise can be preordered; a valid credit card is required, an authorization may be held, and the charge posts when the item ships. Those general preorder terms do not guarantee a particular Invite Only item or mean an invitation is a preorder guarantee.
