Blue Star is free DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Find it in the digital store for the platform where you play, then download or install it through that platform’s usual process. SEGA announced its availability on all platforms on January 13, 2026.
Get Blue Star from your platform’s store
- Open the digital store associated with your copy of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
- Search for “Blue Star” or “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Blue Star.”
- Select the free Blue Star DLC and use the store’s normal download or add-on installation process.
- Launch the game and check for the item in its available Extreme Gear.
SEGA’s January 13, 2026 announcement says the free DLC is available on all platforms. Store navigation varies, and the announcement does not provide a universal, click-by-click set of instructions. Its linked regional storefronts are not a complete list for every platform and region, so use the store for your own platform.
Do you still need a SEGA Account code?
No. The SEGA Account code offer was an earlier promotion, not the current way to get Blue Star. SEGA’s promotion page set October 31, 2025 as the deadline both to sign up and for code availability. It required linking a platform account and limited each SEGA Account to one code for one platform. See the original promotion terms for those historical details.
If a guide tells you to register for a SEGA Account and claim a code, it describes that expired promotion. Get the current free DLC through your platform’s store instead.
