Ordinary enemies can drop Essence, but it is a slow fallback when the one-time sources are exhausted.
Know which Essence milestone you are reaching
The Dream Nail awakens at 1,800 Essence. The Seer’s final milestone is 2,400 Essence, which unlocks her final words and the Ascension achievement. If your total is 2,300, you need 100 more to reach that threshold. The Seer’s reward thresholds.
Check the biggest remaining sources first
The listed one-time sources provide up to 3,208 Essence altogether, so you do not need to complete every source to reach 2,400. Your best next step depends on what you have already cleared, your map, and which fights you can take on.

Use the Warrior’s Grave Pin to find discovered graves
After obtaining the Dream Nail, Iselda sells the Warrior’s Grave Pin for 180 Geo. It marks discovered Warrior Dream locations on maps you have purchased, which can help reveal a grave you encountered but forgot to revisit. It does not locate graves you have not discovered. Choose a route based on what remains
- If a Dream Boss remains: consider it early; Dream Bosses are the largest listed category, though the fight may be harder than collecting roots or completing a Warrior Dream.
- If you have the pin and purchased maps: inspect them for marked Warrior Dream locations you have not completed.
- If you want to sweep for predictable pickups: visit uncleared Whispering Roots and collect every mote released around each root.
- If only a small amount remains after the finite sources: ordinary enemies may drop Essence, but the low odds make this unreliable for a 100-Essence gap.
Return to the Seer at 2,400
Once the counter reaches 2,400 Essence, go back to the Seer to receive her final reward and the Ascension achievement. You do not need to keep farming beyond that threshold for this milestone.
