In Trails in the Sky SC—also titled Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter in current guides—you can get the Marine Star at Lavantar Casino & Bar in Ruan. Buy it at the medal-exchange counter for 200 casino medals.
Where to get Marine Star
-
Progress to Ruan and enter Lavantar Casino & Bar.
-
Go to the medal-exchange counter on the second floor.
-
Exchange 200 casino medals for Marine Star.
The location, counter placement, and medal-earning details come from a player guide; the 200-medal price is also listed by the Kiseki Wiki item listing. A player report says Marine Star is available in Chapter 1, but that chapter timing is guide-based rather than official documentation.
How to get casino medals
A player guide reports two ways to obtain medals: exchange Mira for them at the casino or win them by playing roulette, blackjack, poker, or slots. The medal exchange rate is not stated in the available item listing, so plan around the 200-medal purchase price rather than a specific Mira total.

What Marine Star does
The shop listing describes Marine Star as standard tackle for saltwater fishing. A recent fishing guide lists these compatible bait types:
- Marine Worm
- Shrimp
- Crab
- Kasago
Rod choice affects bait compatibility and the fishing timing window; location and bait affect which fish are available, according to an older PC guide. That guide assigns Marine Star a 0.05 timing bonus, but this older figure is not confirmed for every later version.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is Marine Star a real fishing rod?
No. Marine Star is an in-game item in Trails in the Sky SC, not a real-world fishing product. You obtain it through the in-game casino exchange.
