Terraria 1.4.5 adds four obtainable Pal species from Palworld: Cattiva, Foxparks, Chillet, and Digtoise. Rescue Cattiva or Foxparks from surface goblins, hatch Chillet from an underground Huge Dragon Egg, and find Digtoise underground for mining help. Chillet may hatch as the pink Chillet Ignis variant.
Which Palworld Pals can you get in Terraria 1.4.5?
Guides identify four obtainable species: Cattiva, Foxparks, Chillet, and Digtoise. Chillet can hatch as either the blue form or the pink Chillet Ignis variant. Terraria’s official preview specifically describes Digtoise as mining assistance, but does not publish a consolidated acquisition guide or confirm the variant odds.

The crossover is part of Terraria 1.4.5, not a separate Palworld purchase or add-on established by the available information. Terraria’s official forum announcement says 1.4.5, titled Bigger & Boulder, released January 27, 2026, for PC, console, and mobile, except the bespoke China Mobile version. The team’s September 2026 State of the Game described continued fixes from 1.4.5.8. Storefront builds may not update at the same time, so check your platform’s current version if an encounter does not match these routes.

Cattiva: rescue it from surface goblins
PC Gamer’s guide recommends searching the map’s outer surface areas during daytime in dry conditions. Watch for a goblin encounter, then defeat the captors before the distressed Pal disappears. A Lifeform Analyzer can help alert you to approaching goblins.

PC Gamer reports a 60% Cattiva and 40% Foxparks split for the surface-Pal encounter after a balance patch increased encounter chances. Treat that as guide-reported gameplay information, not an official developer statistic; the encounter is random.
Foxparks: use the same surface rescue route
Foxparks shares the surface goblin-rescue route, but the random encounter may take longer to produce one. A Lifeform Analyzer helps you spot approaching goblins. Water Candle and Battle Potion are in-game spawn aids described by guides; they are not retail accessories. Defeat the goblins quickly so the captive Pal does not disappear.
Chillet and Chillet Ignis: hatch an underground egg
Look underground for a Huge Dragon Egg. A Metal Detector can help identify a nearby egg; mine it and use it to hatch a mount summon. Secondary guides report that it can hatch as the blue Chillet or pink Chillet Ignis. The variant odds are not officially confirmed in the sources reviewed, so there is no established guaranteed split.
Digtoise: search underground for mining help
Search underground, with guides pointing to areas such as the underground desert, and use a Metal Detector to help locate Digtoise. Terraria’s preview says, “Get some assistance with mining through Terraria with your new Pal Digtoise!” One guide describes directing it to mine and recalling it with mouse inputs; controls may differ by platform, so adapt those guide-reported inputs to your version.

Search tools and encounter tips
- Lifeform Analyzer: useful for noticing approaching goblins during the Cattiva and Foxparks search.
- Metal Detector: useful for locating a Huge Dragon Egg or searching for Digtoise underground.
- Water Candle and Battle Potion: in-game spawn aids guides suggest for surface encounters; they are not required store purchases.
- Platform controls: guide-reported mouse actions for Digtoise may not translate directly to console or mobile.
These are in-game search aids, not separate products to buy. If a Pal does not appear, remember that the surface route is random and patch-sensitive, and make sure your game has the current build available for your platform.
What is established—and what is not
The available guides name four obtainable species, while a patch-note search-result summary describes the crossover as containing five Pals and a vanity set. That fifth count is unresolved here: it is not established whether it means another distinct obtainable Pal species or a different content entity. Do not treat it as confirmation of a fifth collectible Pal.
Terraria’s official announcement verifies the crossover, its release context, and Digtoise’s mining role. The acquisition routes and surface encounter ratio above come from secondary guides rather than a single official guide. No authoritative comparative combat stats were identified, so the Pals should not be ranked as equivalent damage options.
