The Petal Dress was originally unlocked with the code WINTERUPDATE, but only during the first three hours of Dress To Impress’s Winter 2024 update launch on December 14, 2024. That window has passed. The sources available do not confirm that the code still works or that the dress has returned.
Can you still get the Petal Dress?
No active way to claim it is confirmed. The reported code window was limited to the first three hours of the Winter 2024 launch, so entering it now should not be treated as a reliable way to obtain the dress. A player discussion asked whether the dress had come back, but that question does not establish a re-release: r/DressToImpressRoblox discussion.
This is not proof that the dress can never return; it means the sources here do not confirm a later return. Check official Dress To Impress announcements or the in-game interface for any new availability notice.
What code originally unlocked it?
The historical code was WINTERUPDATE. The community-maintained Petal Dress item entry dates the item to December 14, 2024 and says players could access it by playing during the first three hours of Winter 2024 and redeeming that code. Pro Game Guides’ July 22, 2025 guide records the same historical time limit and code.

How the original redemption worked
These are the reported historical steps, not a currently verified unlock method. The cited guide describes the following code-entry sequence:
- Open Dress To Impress.
- Select the handbag icon to open the Codes Menu.
- Enter WINTERUPDATE exactly.
- Select Redeem.
The guide says this had to be done within the first three hours of the December 14, 2024 Winter Update launch. That limited window has ended, and the guide does not verify that the menu labels or code remain current.

Did the Winter Quest award the Petal Dress?
The Winter Update included both a quest and new codes, but the available item information links the Petal Dress to the time-limited code, not to completing the quest. The official Roblox experience listing describes the update’s quest and codes as separate features; it does not establish the quest as a way to claim this dress.

No source here identifies merchandise or DLC tokens as a Petal Dress unlock. The official Dress To Impress DLC page describes token rewards generally but does not name this item. The documented original route was the in-game code.
