Before HR100, general Wyverian Melding is a possible but very low-chance route; no specific quest or reliable drop rate is established by the cited sources.

- Reach Hunter Rank 100.
- Travel to Suja and interact with the Melding Pot.
- Select Ancient Orb – Armor. Do not choose an orb category for weapon decorations.
- Choose Sane Jewel [1] as the meld target. Game8 lists the cost as 450 points.
Game8’s Sane Jewel guide identifies this direct-target meld route. The game-data entry also lists melding and quest rewards as general sources for decorations, without specifying a material recipe for this jewel.
Can you get it before HR100?
Shacknews reports that Sane Jewel may appear through general Wyverian Melding before HR100, but describes the chance as very small. This is a possible early route, not a dependable farm. Decorations can also come from quest rewards, but the consulted references do not name a quest that specifically rewards Sane Jewel or provide its odds.
There is no confirmed probability or best quest farm in these sources, so avoid treating any particular quest or pre-HR100 melding attempt as guaranteed.

What Sane Jewel does
Sane Jewel [1] is a rarity-5 armor decoration. It fits an armor slot of level 1 or higher and grants Antivirus Lv1, according to the Ascendance Database decoration entry.
Antivirus helps you overcome Frenzy and increases affinity if you are cured. The listed skill effects are:

If you do not have the jewel yet, or want more than one Antivirus level, the skill is also listed on Gore Mail α, Gore Coil α, Gore Greaves α or β, and Sanity Charms I, II, and III. Compare each piece’s slots and the rest of your build before replacing equipment; the jewel itself requires only a level-1-or-higher armor slot.
