The Stick of Truth is not confirmed to be available in Fortnite now. It was a match item in the South Park: Born in Chaos crossover, which ran from January 9 through February 5, 2026. During the event, it was tied to a named Rift Anomaly; launch-day coverage reported a pickup point at Cartmanland’s eastern castle stage when the anomaly appeared.
Where did the Stick of Truth spawn in Fortnite?
During the crossover, players first needed the Stick of Truth Rift Anomaly to appear. It was not guaranteed to show up in every match, and launch-era coverage described its appearance as random. Follow any live in-game or map indication rather than assuming the item will be present.
Destructoid’s January 9, 2026 launch guide reported that, when the anomaly was active, the Stick could be picked up at the eastern edge of Cartmanland, at the castle stage. It described the item as resting on a red cushion atop a concrete pedestal in front of a Cartman mural. Treat that as a reported event-era location, not a confirmed location for a later season.
How did the Stick of Truth work?
Epic described the Stick as a way to “Control the Storm.” A launch-era guide characterized it as a one-use Mythic that let its holder change the storm’s position, shape, or speed, and reported that only one Stick could be claimed per match. Those details describe the crossover’s event-era mechanics, not a current live-game guarantee.

Can you get the Stick of Truth now?
As of October 5, 2026, current availability is unconfirmed. Epic announced the South Park: Born in Chaos event for January 9 through February 5, 2026, so that event window has passed. The sources available do not establish that the gameplay item has returned.
For any later reintroduction, check current in-game Fortnite notices or official Fortnite announcements. Epic Support’s general guidance says Item Shop items rotate and may return, but it does not confirm the return of this gameplay item; that guidance also does not establish the Stick as a Shop cosmetic.

What was included in the South Park crossover?
Epic announced a free Born in Chaos Pass with 13 South Park-themed items, unlockable by completing South Park Quests. That pass and the Stick’s storm-control mechanic were part of the event, not evidence that the match item remains obtainable.

Yes. Epic Games Store lists South Park: The Stick of Truth as a separate single-player role-playing game released March 4, 2014, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Buying that game does not unlock or provide the Fortnite match item.
