You can’t reach Korok Forest by following the familiar surface path through the Lost Woods in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Instead, enter the Depths through Minshi Woods Chasm, travel northwest to the stone pillar near Rikonasum Lightroot, and use Ascend beneath it.
Why the usual Lost Woods entrance does not work
The surface approach to the Lost Woods is blocked in Tears of the Kingdom, so trying to walk through the forest will not take you to Korok Forest. The practical route goes underground and ends with Ascend.

How to reach Korok Forest through the Depths

Follow the road toward the Lost Woods until you reach Minshi Woods Chasm, beside the path leading toward the forest. Enter the chasm rather than trying to continue along the surface route.

Drop into the Depths through the chasm.

From the landing area, travel northwest. Use visible lights and Koroks to guide you toward the giant tree roots.

Climb the roots to reach the large stone pillar near Rikonasum Lightroot. You can activate the Lightroot to improve visibility.

Stand beneath the pillar and use Ascend. Link will emerge in Korok Forest.

The route is described by landmarks rather than exact coordinates; follow the northwest direction from the chasm and look for the roots and pillar.

Ascend is the final step. Reaching the pillar alone does not bring you into the forest; position Link directly beneath it before using the ability.
