From Vernworth, travel east toward the Nameless Village, then turn south and detour through the Eastern Forest: rubble or a landslide blocks the direct road on the initial approach. Follow your map or active quest marker to stay oriented, and choose whether to avoid or fight the Minotaur that may appear along the way.
Route from Vernworth
- Start in Vernworth and head east. The village lies east of the city, though walkthroughs describe its bearing somewhat differently, so use the map or active quest marker rather than relying on a precise compass direction.
- Leave the blocked main road and head south through the Eastern Forest. Rubble or a landslide prevents the direct approach. The forest detour takes you around the obstruction and onward to the settlement.
- Decide how to handle the Minotaur. A Minotaur may be in the area. Walkthroughs describe fighting it or avoiding it as viable; they do not establish a reliable difference in time, difficulty, or reward.
What to do in the village
Captain Brant’s investigation into the false Sovran directs the Arisen to the village. At the top of the settlement, enter the Old Noble Manor and speak with Flaude. Then go to Nameless Village Depths to find Srail and continue the investigation. Return to Brant as the quest directs.
Quest timing and the blocked road
PowerPyx reports that the side quest becomes unavailable during Main Quest 10, “Feast of Deception.” Treat that as a walkthrough-reported timing caveat, not an official Capcom statement.
PowerPyx also reports that completing the quest clears the blocked main road, so the route back may differ from the forest detour used to reach the village.
