Cross to the far side and continue to Runyd’s House; the Watcher is Runyd.
Find the route from Paradis to The Rise Party Camp
- Track An Untimely End and follow its quest marker to The Rise Party Camp, northeast of Paradis. If you have just started the quest and are at Livinia’s Clinic in the Underbelly, leave the city and head northeast toward the camp.
- From the camp, head north toward the broken bridge. You cannot treat the gap as an ordinary walkable crossing: use a frost effect to form a temporary surface over the water.
Cross the broken bridge with ice
Use whichever option you already have available: an Eye of Rymgand grenade or an ice spell. Chill Blades is one spell option; a frost spell from a grimoire is another reported solution.
| Option | What to do | When it makes sense |
|---|---|---|
| Eye of Rymgand grenade | Throw it at the water to create an ice platform. | Use it if you have the grenade available. |
| Ice spell | Cast an ice effect, such as Chill Blades or a frost spell from a grimoire, to make a platform over the water. | Use it if an appropriate spell is available to you. |
Once the ice forms, use it to get onto the remaining bridge section, then continue across. The walkthroughs describe both approaches; neither is established as universally preferable.
Continue to Runyd’s House
After crossing, follow the path toward Runyd’s House. At the fork described by the walkthroughs, take the branch toward the house. Game8 suggests speaking to the person sitting by the tree outside before going in; then enter and speak with Runyd to advance the quest.
