In Arknights: Endfield, Oleg’s Sluggish Escapade Exploration Mission takes place in Origin Lodespring, Valley IV. Catch the first Originium Slug along the path to his right, report back to unlock three more locations, then power the Electric Nexus to reach the slug behind the gate south of the Mining Area Clinic. Return to Oleg after the final catch to complete the mission.
Where to find Oleg and start Sluggish Escapade
Go to the southern part of Origin Lodespring in Valley IV. Oleg is standing by a shipping container and crates. Speak with him to begin the request. The mission sequence and locations are mapped in Game8’s Sluggish Escapade walkthrough.
Catch the first Originium Slug
- From Oleg, follow the path to the right to find the timid slug.
- Approach carefully: it flees when you get close and follows a set route.
- Watch where it stops to rest, then catch it while it is paused.
- Return to Oleg. This conversation unlocks the three remaining slug locations.
Find the three remaining slugs
After speaking with Oleg, check the newly marked locations. The walkthrough places them in these areas:
- At the bottom of the ramp to Oleg’s right.
- North of Oleg, beside a cart.
- South of the Mining Area Clinic, inside a gated area.
Power the Electric Nexus for the gated slug
The slug south of the Mining Area Clinic is behind a gate. The guide says to activate the Electric Nexus by extending a connected power route until the device receives power; this opens access to the area. The available walkthrough does not specify exact infrastructure components or a version-specific build layout, so follow the in-game power indicators and objective tracker if your setup differs.

Finish the mission and claim the reported rewards
Once all three additional slugs are caught, return to Oleg to complete the mission. Game8 lists these rewards; quantities are from a third-party guide and may differ after game updates:
- 3,250 T-Creds
- 5 Protoprisms
- 50 Oroberyl
- 10 Intermediate Combat Records
- 8 Arms INSP Kits
- 200 Operational EXP
If quest progress does not update
A second third-party walkthrough recommends returning to Oleg if the tracker does not advance after a capture. Treat this as a troubleshooting suggestion rather than a confirmed game rule: check the objective tracker first, then speak with Oleg before repeating the catch. For current steps, Game8’s guide was last updated April 14, 2026; another walkthrough is dated January 30, 2026. These are not official game documentation, so rely on the in-game tracker if the route or rewards have changed.
