To import your Arisen and Main Pawn, save their designs in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage, then start the full game on the same account with the creator’s save data on your console. When the game asks, “Use existing character data to create the Arisen/your pawn?”, choose Yes. Capcom’s instructions describe this as the way to use the saved designs in the full game.
Import your saved Arisen and Main Pawn
- Create and save both characters. Open Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage, design your Arisen and Main Pawn, and save the designs.
- Keep the creator save data available. Start the full game using the same account you used for the creator tool, with its save data present on the console.
- Accept the import prompt. During the full game’s character-creation flow, select Yes when asked: “Use existing character data to create the Arisen/your pawn?”
Capcom’s documented workflow places the import at the full game’s startup character-creation flow. The official PlayStation and Xbox store listings say the creator can store up to five Arisen designs and five Main Pawn designs. The reviewed instructions do not explain how to choose among multiple saved designs during import, so they do not establish which design the game will present or how to switch between them at that point. What to check if the import prompt does not appear
- Confirm you are launching the full game, not reopening the creator tool.
- Check that you are using the same account as in the creator tool.
- Confirm the creator tool’s save data is present on the console where you are starting the full game.
Capcom lists the account and saved-data requirements but does not provide a detailed recovery procedure for missing save files, cloud-sync problems, or a prompt that fails to appear. The official material reviewed also does not establish that character data can be transferred between platforms or accounts. Avoid deleting or overwriting creator data while trying to resolve a missing prompt unless you have confirmed you can restore it.
Creator tool, full game, and platform scope
The Character Creator & Storage tool is listed as free on the official PlayStation and Xbox stores; the full game is a separate product. Those listings confirm the tool’s storage capacity and availability for their respective platforms, not cross-platform transfer. PlayStation Store Xbox Store

Capcom’s all-platform FAQ covers PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, and says the game’s basic content is the same with some hardware and controller differences. Its transfer instructions refer to the same account and creator save data on the console; they do not give separate launcher or cloud-save walkthroughs for each platform. Capcom’s all-platform FAQ

Capcom says you can change the Arisen’s or Main Pawn’s appearance and voice using an in-game Art of Metamorphosis at a certain location. Its PS5 FAQ identifies the Pawn Guild as a place to obtain one. The Arisen’s race and both characters’ names and monikers cannot be changed. Main Pawn inclination can be changed with Art of Metamorphosis, or by speaking to the Pawn while camping if the Pawn has the relevant Rift Incense. Capcom’s PS5 FAQ
