The current store descriptions also frame Coaches as a way to develop technical and physical abilities. They do not publish a complete list of affected attributes, the weighting of each upgrade, or an upgrade formula. Treat any precise stat-allocation chart found elsewhere as a community theory unless the current game interface itself confirms it.

First Touch Games states: “Coaches will then randomly select a player to permanently upgrade.” In practical terms, selecting a Coach does not, on the published instructions, guarantee an upgrade for the striker, goalkeeper or other named player you had in mind. If the result lands on a different squad member, that is consistent with the documented mechanic rather than evidence that the action failed.
Because the selection is random, do not build a resource plan around a guaranteed sequence such as “one Coach for each position.” The official description supplies no odds, pity counter, reroll option or protection against upgrading a player you rarely use.

What a Coach can improve
The Google Play listing describes Coaches as developing technical and physical abilities. That is a broad category description, not a published allocation table. It does not establish whether a particular Coach favors pace, shooting, passing, strength, stamina, control or another individual attribute, nor does it state how many points an upgrade grants.
Read the player’s attributes after the action and keep your own record if you want to understand how your squad is changing. A screenshot before and after the upgrade is more reliable than assuming a community-made formula applies to the 2026 edition.

How to plan around uncertainty
- Use a Coach when you are comfortable with any eligible squad player receiving the permanent improvement.
- Do not promise yourself that the next Coach will land on a specific prospect.
- Check the result on the player profile after the action instead of inferring the affected ability from the Coach’s name alone.
- Keep your active squad broad enough that an upgrade to an unexpected player still has value.
This is a risk-management approach, not a claim that one Coach type or spending schedule is optimal. The published instructions do not reveal enough information to calculate an optimal order.
How Form Boosts work

Before activating a boost, open the current in-game information panel and read the match duration shown for your club. Do not copy a duration from an older guide if the interface displays a different value for your facility level.

Use a boost for a defined match window
A Form Boost makes the most sense when you can identify the fixtures in which the temporary increase will matter. Activate it close enough to that run that the available matches are not consumed by games you did not intend to support. The official material does not specify every activation screen, so use the control presented by your current squad or training interface rather than relying on an old menu screenshot.
Do not assume named-player targeting
The support description explains the duration and effect of Form Boosts but does not state whether the current interface lets you select any named player, how many players can be affected, or whether the boost applies automatically. If the screen presents a player selector, follow the names and confirmation text shown there. If it does not, do not assume that a hidden targeting workaround exists.
