Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Short answer: YouTube’s Android app documents mobile livestreaming and screen casting, but not selecting a prerecorded video file and looping it continuously as a YouTube Live source. You can investigate an Android encoder app configured with your YouTube stream URL and key, but confirm that it supports local-file playback and unattended looping before relying on it; the available app listings do not establish those features.
Can you stream and loop a video file from an Android phone?
There is no confirmed, documented Android workflow in the sources cited here for choosing a local video file, sending it to YouTube Live, and repeating it unattended. YouTube’s native mobile instructions cover a livestream from the app, including screen casting; they do not describe selecting a stored video or looping playback.
Android encoder streaming is supported as a category, but that does not mean every encoder can play a local file or repeat it. The exact app must accept the video as an input, provide the repeat behavior you need, and connect to YouTube successfully. No app-specific local-file loop capability is established here.
Choose the workflow that matches your source
| Route | Documented input and connection | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube Android app | In-app mobile livestreaming, with screen casting mentioned in YouTube’s instructions. | Choosing a local prerecorded file as the source or looping it unattended. |
| Android encoder app | Encoder streaming configured with YouTube’s stream URL and stream key. YouTube lists Android encoder apps, including Larix Broadcaster. | Whether a particular app accepts a local video file, loops it continuously, or can run reliably for your intended duration. |
| Cloud playback service | StreamNeo plays uploaded videos to YouTube Live from the cloud. | It is not an Android camera-streaming workflow; it plays uploaded videos. |
Check YouTube’s mobile requirements first
YouTube’s current Android mobile-live guidance lists these requirements. YouTube says first-time activation of live streaming may take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s Android mobile live-streaming requirements.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. - 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.

- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
- At least 50 subscribers.
- A verified channel.
- No live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
- Live streaming enabled for the channel.
- An Android device running Android 8.0 or newer.
YouTube’s general live-streaming guidance also requires creators to be at least 16 and says the channel must be verified and free of live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. These are YouTube requirements, not a guarantee that a particular app can stream a prerecorded file. Review YouTube’s live-streaming restrictions and guidance.
Use YouTube’s native Android workflow for a live camera or screen
- Open the YouTube app and tap Create, then Live.
- Enter the stream details and choose the available mobile-stream options.
- Start the livestream from the app. YouTube’s instructions also describe screen casting.
This is the documented mobile path for a live stream or cast. It does not document feeding the app a prerecorded local video, setting it to repeat, or keeping playback unattended. YouTube’s mobile streaming steps.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Investigate an Android encoder for prerecorded playback
An encoder converts video for delivery to YouTube. YouTube describes encoder workflows for productions such as screen sharing, gameplay, and external audio/video equipment. To use one, retrieve the stream URL and key through YouTube Studio and enter them in the encoder’s settings. YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- In YouTube Studio, create or configure the live stream and locate its stream URL and key. Keep the key private: anyone with it may be able to send video to your stream.
- Install an Android encoder only after checking its current documentation for local-file input and repeat or loop controls. YouTube lists Larix Broadcaster among mobile encoders; its Google Play description says it supports RTMP and other streaming protocols, but neither source confirms local prerecorded-file playback or indefinite looping.
- In the encoder, enter the YouTube stream URL and key using the app’s documented fields. The field names and method vary by app; do not assume a generic RTMP option will provide file playback.
- Select the file and configure looping only if the app explicitly supports those functions. Check video, audio, orientation, and any app limits before starting.
- Start with a private or unlisted test stream. Confirm the file plays, repeats in the intended way, audio stays in sync, and YouTube continues receiving the stream before using it for a longer broadcast.
YouTube’s encoder information lists mobile options; Larix Broadcaster’s Google Play listing describes its supported protocols. These references do not verify that Larix—or another listed encoder—can loop a local file. Treat the feature check as a prerequisite, not an assumed capability.

Test duration, connection, and playback before relying on a phone
A short successful start does not prove that a phone-and-app setup will keep running for the duration you need. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring stream quality. In your own private or unlisted test, check the specific app’s file input and repeat behavior, YouTube’s incoming picture and sound, the network connection, device heat, and power over the intended runtime. These are practical checks, not a claim that any particular Android setup has been tested.
- If playback stops after one pass, verify the app has a documented repeat mode; do not assume YouTube will restart the file.
- If YouTube does not receive video, recheck the stream URL and key in the encoder, and confirm the stream is active in YouTube Studio.
- If picture or sound is missing or unstable, inspect the selected source and audio routing in the app, then run another test before making the stream public.
- If the phone interrupts the stream, check whether its power-saving settings, heat, network, or the app’s background behavior is involved. A phone is not a substitute for a verified long-duration setup.
Check rights and YouTube rules before broadcasting
YouTube says livestream content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Use video and audio you have permission to broadcast, and verify that your license covers livestreaming and any archive YouTube retains. A file being stored on your phone does not grant broadcast rights. YouTube also advises creators to ensure that stream audio and video do not infringe other content. Review YouTube’s live-streaming policies and stream setup guidance.
