To loop a Free Fire MAX recording on YouTube Live, send the video file through an encoder that supports looping. First enable live streaming on your YouTube channel, create a stream in YouTube Studio, enter its stream URL and key in the encoder, preview the broadcast, and start streaming. You need a recording and a stable upload connection; a capture card or camera is not required for this prerecorded-video workflow.

Before you start

  • A YouTube channel eligible to go live: YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. First-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours, so enable it ahead of your planned broadcast. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
  • A gameplay recording: Keep the video file accessible to the encoder you choose. Check that its video and audio play correctly before scheduling a long broadcast.
  • An encoder with a looping option: YouTube supports both software and dedicated hardware encoders, but looping controls differ. Consult the current manual for your chosen encoder and confirm it can repeat a local video file; do not assume every encoder can.
  • A dependable internet connection: The encoder sends the video from your device to YouTube. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth about 20% above the stream’s total bitrate as headroom. This is general guidance, not a guarantee that your connection will sustain a particular resolution. See YouTube’s streaming tips.

Set up and start the loop

  1. Enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. Complete any channel verification or eligibility steps shown there. If this is your first time enabling live streaming, allow up to 24 hours for access to become available.
  2. Create or schedule a stream. In YouTube Studio, open the live-streaming workflow and create or schedule the broadcast. Use a clear title and description, and select the audience and visibility settings that fit your channel.
  3. Copy the stream URL and key. Find these in the stream’s YouTube Studio setup. Enter both in your encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to broadcast to your channel. Do not show it on screen or share it publicly. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions describe the platform flow.
  4. Load the recording and enable looping in the encoder. Select the gameplay file as the encoder’s media input and enable its repeat or loop function using that encoder’s current instructions. Check that playback returns to the beginning as expected. The exact control and behavior depend on the encoder, so verify them before going live rather than relying on a guessed menu path.
  5. Choose stream settings your connection can handle. Set the output resolution and bitrate in the encoder, and ensure the upload connection has headroom above the total bitrate. YouTube’s general streaming tips recommend roughly 20% headroom. The suitable output depends on your source file and connection; a higher setting is not automatically better if it causes dropped frames or interruptions.
  6. Start the encoder and check YouTube’s preview. Begin sending the stream, then inspect the Live Control Room preview before making the broadcast public or announcing it. Verify that the image is moving, the game audio is audible at a sensible level, and the stream is accessible as intended. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring audio and video before and during a broadcast (streaming tips).
  7. Go live and monitor the broadcast. Once the preview is healthy, start the live broadcast through the YouTube workflow if it is not already live. Keep an eye on the encoder and Live Control Room for connection or content warnings.

Settings that affect viewers, not the loop

YouTube’s latency setting affects the delay between encoding and playback. DVR, when enabled, lets viewers pause and resume the live stream. These controls influence how people watch; they do not make the encoder repeat the recording. Review YouTube’s latency and DVR settings guidance when choosing the viewing experience.

Copyright and Free Fire MAX considerations

A recording being yours does not automatically mean every element in it is cleared for a public broadcast. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If its systems identify material, the stream may show a placeholder, receive a warning, be interrupted, or be terminated; an archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim. Use gameplay footage, music, and other audio for which you have appropriate rights. Repeating a file does not remove copyright risk or guarantee monetization. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams.

Garena’s India terms reserve rights in the game and its content and include restrictions on use, but they do not directly settle whether a player may rebroadcast Free Fire MAX gameplay recordings. Do not treat that uncertainty as permission: consult the current applicable terms or Garena if permission is material. Garena support also warns that unauthorized tools interacting with the game client and non-official programs that provide a gameplay edge may result in a ban. Use an encoder to play a recording outside the game client; do not use cheats, modified clients, or tools that alter gameplay. See Garena’s India support notice and anti-hack guidance.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Likely cause What to check
You cannot start a live stream The channel may not be verified, may have a live restriction, or may still be waiting for first-time live enablement. Check channel eligibility and live status in YouTube Studio. If you just enabled live streaming, allow up to 24 hours.
YouTube receives no video The encoder may have the wrong stream URL or key, may not be sending, or may not have the recording loaded as its input. Recheck the URL and key against the stream in YouTube Studio, confirm the encoder is actively sending, then inspect the Live Control Room preview.
The video plays once and stops Looping may not be enabled, or the encoder’s media input may not support repeat playback as configured. Check the encoder’s current instructions, confirm its repeat option is enabled, and test a full end-to-start transition before broadcasting.
Playback stutters or the stream drops The upload connection may not sustain the encoder’s total bitrate. Check the encoder and YouTube preview for connection issues. Lower output demands if needed and preserve the bandwidth headroom YouTube recommends.
The stream is interrupted or shows a placeholder YouTube may have detected third-party content. Review any YouTube warning and remove or replace material you do not have rights to use. Do not assume that a gameplay recording or its soundtrack is automatically cleared.
Viewers report a delay or cannot pause Latency and DVR settings affect delay and pause/resume behavior. Review the stream’s latency and DVR settings in YouTube Studio; these options do not control whether the encoder loops.
