To loop Hindi songs in a 24/7 YouTube live stream, prepare a program of tracks you have permission to use live, set that program to repeat in an encoder or continuous-stream service, then send it to YouTube with the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio. Preview it in Live Control Room and monitor it after it starts. The first decision is not which playback tool to use: it is whether you have live-stream rights to every composition and recording.
Before you build the stream: clear the music
YouTube requires the necessary rights for live content. Its terms say: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” That is YouTube’s stated warranty; it does not determine which licenses a particular song needs in a particular territory. Read YouTube’s terms, and ask the relevant rights holders about the specific songs, recordings, territories, and live-stream use you intend.
- A purchased song or CD is not, by itself, permission to broadcast the recording in a livestream.
- Credit in the description, a “free” label, or permission for an ordinary video upload does not establish live-stream rights.
- Keep written permission and its scope, including territory and duration, with your stream records.
- Composition rights and rights in a particular recording may involve different parties; verify the permissions relevant to both.
YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party content. A match can interrupt or terminate a broadcast. Even licensed music can trigger an interruption if the rights holder has not added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Ask the rights holder whether it can allowlist your channel before going live. See YouTube’s guidance on live-streaming restrictions.
Creator Music does not grant live-stream use
YouTube says Creator Music licenses and revenue-sharing tracks are for long-form videos, not live streams; its FAQ says licensing for live content is not supported. Do not infer permission to play a track in a 24/7 livestream from an upload license. Check Creator Music’s usage terms and FAQ for the track and format you plan to use.

Safer music sources still require checking the use
YouTube identifies public-domain music and music used with permission as safe categories, and recommends options such as original music, the YouTube Audio Library, or third-party sources whose licenses you check. Its guidance warns that calling a song “free” or crediting its creator does not prevent Content ID restrictions. For a Hindi song you specifically want to use, verify that the license covers the composition and recording in a live broadcast and in your intended territories. See YouTube’s copyright-safe music guidance.
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation of live streaming can take up to 24 hours, so complete this check well before your planned start. The current requirements are listed in YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

Prepare a program that can repeat cleanly
Make a playlist or continuous program from the cleared tracks and decide how it should flow: track order, transitions, any spoken segments, and whether the final item should lead directly back into the first. Use an encoder on a computer or a service that supports continuous streaming, then configure that tool to repeat the program or playlist. YouTube’s encoder instructions explain the handoff to the platform, but do not specify loop controls for every third-party tool; follow the current documentation for the software or service you choose.
Before committing to a long broadcast, test the end of the playlist returning to its beginning. Listen for a silence, clipped opening, doubled audio, or a player that stops instead of restarting. Test the actual output sent to YouTube, not just playback inside your editing application.

Create a YouTube encoder stream and connect it
- Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule a stream. In Live Control Room, choose an encoder-based stream and set its title, visibility, and start details. YouTube’s encoder streaming guide describes this workflow.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. Enter them in the encoder or cloud service’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key as a credential: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to send video to your channel. YouTube explains stream settings in its stream setup guidance.
- Set the prepared program to repeat. Select the media file or playlist and enable looping in the chosen tool. Confirm the playlist is set to repeat all items, rather than stopping after one pass or repeating only the current track.
- Start sending the encoder feed, then preview in Live Control Room. Check that YouTube receives the expected picture and audio before making the stream public or starting the scheduled broadcast.
- Monitor the stream. Check the live page and the encoder or service during operation. YouTube recommends sufficient upload bandwidth, leaving headroom, and monitoring audio and video quality. See YouTube’s streaming tips and setup guidance.
Choose where the 24/7 playback runs
The basic choice is local playback and encoding versus a cloud service that keeps the feed running remotely. A local setup gives you control over the playback machine, but that machine and its network connection must remain available. A cloud service can remove the need to leave a dedicated PC running at home; verify its current features and terms before relying on it. YouTube’s encoder documentation lists software, hardware, and a cloud option, Gyre, for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming; its listing is not an endorsement. See YouTube’s encoder options.
A special PC, hardware encoder, audio interface, external drive, router upgrade, or UPS may suit a particular reliability or performance need, but none is established as a universal requirement for looping a prepared program. Choose equipment only to solve a real constraint in your setup.

Plan for long-stream archives
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A continuous 24/7 broadcast exceeds that threshold, so do not assume the whole stream will be available as one replay. If an archive matters, check current Studio behavior and make a separate local recording plan. See YouTube’s encoder and archiving guidance.
Copyright and monetization are separate questions
Clearing the music does not guarantee monetization, and repeating a playlist does not make a channel eligible for the YouTube Partner Program. YouTube applies monetization policies to live streams and assesses reused content and material that is repetitive or mass-produced. Review YouTube’s channel monetization policies separately from the music licenses. A rights-cleared stream can still fail monetization review, and monetization eligibility does not replace the need for music rights.
Quick Recap
Troubleshoot common failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start an encoder stream | The channel is not eligible or first-time live activation is still pending. | Verify the channel and check for restrictions; allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation. |
| YouTube does not receive the encoder feed | The stream URL or key is missing, incorrect, or entered in the wrong destination. | Copy the current URL and key from the stream’s YouTube Studio settings and enter them in the encoder. Keep the key private. |
| The stream is interrupted after music begins | Content ID detected third-party material, or the rights holder has not allowlisted the channel. | Review the stream notice, confirm live rights for the exact music and territories, and ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting. |
| The stream stops at the end of the program | The encoder or service is not set to repeat the whole playlist, or its playback process ended. | Check repeat-all behavior and test the end-to-start transition before scheduling a long stream. |
| Audio or video quality degrades | The feed, encoder, or upload connection may not sustain the output reliably. | Preview the received feed, check upload headroom, and monitor the actual stream for continuity and quality. |
