A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11To loop a prerecorded Hindi video on YouTube Live, use FFmpeg to read the file at a live pace and send it to the stream URL and key shown in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. SRS is optional: add it only if you need a self-hosted RTMP relay between FFmpeg and YouTube. The video’s language does not change the streaming setup.
Before you start
- Have a video file you are authorized to stream, including its soundtrack and images. This is a practical prerequisite, not legal advice; no particular Hindi video’s rights or monetization eligibility can be assumed.
- Install FFmpeg and confirm the loop options supported by your local build. FFmpeg’s online documentation is regenerated nightly and may differ from an older installed version (FFmpeg command-line documentation; FFmpeg filters documentation).
- Have access to YouTube Live Control Room and keep the stream key private. The setup and eligibility available to you depend on your YouTube account and current settings.
Direct method: FFmpeg to YouTube
1. Create or select a YouTube Live stream
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room. Create or select the stream you plan to use.
- Copy the server URL and stream key displayed for that stream. Use the current values from the control room rather than copying an endpoint from someone else’s example. Never put the key in public screenshots, chat, or a source-code repository.
YouTube documents the encoder workflow in its Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder help page. If your encoder supports RTMPS, prefer the secure endpoint supplied by YouTube. RTMPS is RTMP over TLS/SSL; Google’s developer documentation specifies port 443 for the connection (Delivering Live YouTube Content via RTMPS).
2. Check FFmpeg’s loop syntax and pace the file
-re is a pacing option, not a loop switch. The FFmpeg Project documents it as reading input at its native frame rate (equivalent to -readrate 1), which is useful when output packet flow matters, such as live streaming. Input options should come before the matching -i, because FFmpeg options generally apply to the next input or output.
Loop syntax depends on whether you loop the input or use a filter. Check your installed build with ffmpeg -h and its local documentation before streaming. The filter documentation describes an infinite frame loop as loop=-1; that filter-level operation is not interchangeable in every situation with looping a media-file input. Do not assume a loop option from another build applies to yours.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
3. Send the feed to the YouTube endpoint
Once you have verified the appropriate input-loop option for your FFmpeg build, construct the command using this pattern. Replace the bracketed values locally; do not paste a real stream key into a public page or share it.
ffmpeg -re [verified input-loop option] -i "video.mp4" [output options appropriate to the file and YouTube stream] -f flv "[YouTube server URL]/[stream key]"

Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Place file-input options before -i. Use the exact server URL and key displayed in Live Control Room, and follow the current YouTube configuration for your stream. The available evidence does not establish a universally suitable bitrate, resolution, frame rate, or output preset, so do not treat one preset as correct for every file, connection, or account.
4. Check the preview and start the event
- Run FFmpeg and wait for the incoming preview in Live Control Room.
- Check that the picture and sound are correct before starting a scheduled event.
- For a scheduled stream, click Go live in Live Control Room after the preview is ready. Keep the computer running FFmpeg and its network connection available for the planned event.
Optional method: relay through SRS
SRS is useful if you specifically need an RTMP endpoint that you operate yourself. In this topology, FFmpeg publishes to SRS; SRS then relays the stream toward YouTube. SRS does not replace YouTube’s stream URL and key, and the SRS sample publishing address is not a YouTube endpoint.

Set up the relay
- Follow the Docker setup in the SRS stable 6.0 getting-started documentation to run SRS and configure its RTMP application and stream path.
- Publish from FFmpeg to the RTMP URL configured for your SRS instance. The SRS documentation’s example uses
-stream_loop -1and-refor its sample publisher; use it as an SRS-targeted example, not as a YouTube command. - Configure SRS to forward the feed to YouTube using the server URL and stream key from Live Control Room. Confirm the relay is receiving and forwarding the feed, then verify the YouTube preview before starting a scheduled event.
The relay adds an SRS process, host, and network configuration to maintain. The cited setup documentation does not establish a particular hardware requirement or a quantified cost comparison. If you do not need a self-hosted ingest layer, sending FFmpeg directly to YouTube involves fewer components.
Plan the event duration and content
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That archive guidance is not a guarantee that a loop will run indefinitely or remove the need to manage event duration and archives. Plan how long the event should run and check its status while streaming (YouTube’s encoder setup help).

FFmpeg rejects an option
The option may not exist in your installed build, may have different syntax, or may be placed in the wrong position. Check ffmpeg -h and the local documentation; put input flags before the relevant -i.

The stream plays once instead of repeating
-re only controls pacing. Verify that you enabled a loop mechanism supported by your build and that it is applied at the correct input or filter stage. Do not substitute filter-level loop=-1 for file-input looping without confirming it fits your workflow.
YouTube does not show an incoming preview
Recheck that FFmpeg is publishing to the current server URL and that the matching stream key is correct. For RTMPS, use the exact secure endpoint supplied by YouTube. If using SRS, separately verify FFmpeg-to-SRS publishing and SRS-to-YouTube forwarding.
The scheduled event has not started
An encoder feed and a scheduled event are separate steps. Wait for the preview, check picture and sound, and then start the event with Go live in Live Control Room.
