Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo make a YouTube playlist start over, play a video in the playlist, open the playlist panel, and select Loop. On a TV or gaming console, open the playback controls and select Repeat until the indicator says “Repeat • Playlist.” This repeats the playlist, not just the current video. If you mean a broadcast that is still live, that is a different feature: playlist repeat is a viewer playback control, not a way to keep a live broadcast going.
Loop a playlist on a computer or phone
- Open a video that is part of the playlist you want to repeat.
- Expand the playlist panel so you can see its videos.
- Select Loop in the playlist controls. The playlist should start again from its first video after the final item.
YouTube’s help instructions cover computer and mobile playback, though exact layouts may vary by device. A completed livestream replay can be looped like another video when it is available to play as part of the playlist; the official instructions do not specify special behavior for livestream replays. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.
Repeat a playlist on a TV or gaming console
- Start a video from the playlist.
- Open the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the on-screen indicator reads “Repeat • Playlist.”
Check that the indicator names the playlist. A repeat setting for the current video is not the same as repeating the full playlist. YouTube Help documents this TV and gaming console control.
Use playlist looping in an embedded player
If you are embedding a player on a website, YouTube’s embedded-player parameters provide a separate way to repeat a playlist. Set loop=1 to play the whole playlist and start again at its first video. For a single embedded video, set the playlist parameter to that same video’s ID along with loop=1. These parameters apply to embedded players; they do not change playback settings in the YouTube app or on youtube.com. See YouTube Embedded Players and Player Parameters.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Loop is not the same as autoplay
Autoplay and playlist looping control different things. In YouTube’s embedded-player documentation, autoplay controls whether the initial video starts automatically when the player loads. The loop parameter repeats a playlist. Turning on autoplay alone does not make a playlist start over after its last video. Google’s player-parameter documentation describes both settings.
If you mean a broadcast that is still live
A live broadcast is not a playlist of videos being watched back. YouTube documents playlist repeat as a viewer playback feature and live streaming as a separate workflow managed through YouTube Studio and Live Control Room, including encoder configuration. Its cited help does not describe playlist repeat as a way to restart or extend a broadcast that is still live. See YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming.

If your goal is to keep prerecorded video playing as a YouTube live stream, you need a creator-side streaming workflow rather than the viewer’s playlist Repeat control. The YouTube guidance here establishes the Live Control Room and encoder workflow but does not prescribe repeat settings for a particular encoder. For a how-to specific to your encoder, consult its instructions.

Troubleshoot playlist repeat
- The next video plays, but the playlist does not restart: Open the playlist controls and check that playlist Loop or Repeat • Playlist is selected, rather than a control that repeats only the current video.
- The first video does not start automatically when an embed loads: That is the separate autoplay behavior. Set the embed’s autoplay option if you want the initial video to start on load; use
loop=1for playlist repetition. - You cannot find the control: Identify whether you are using a computer, mobile device, TV, or console; the documented steps differ. On computer or mobile, expand the playlist panel. On TV or console, open playback controls.
- You are trying to restart a live broadcast: Playlist repeat is not the documented control for that task. Use the live-stream workflow in YouTube Studio/Live Control Room and the relevant encoder configuration instead.
