Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou can broadcast prerecorded Marathi lessons continuously by sending them to YouTube Live through an encoder that loops a playlist. YouTube provides the live-stream connection, but it does not turn uploaded videos into an always-on broadcast for you: the encoder or cloud service must arrange playback, looping, and recovery. You need a verified channel with live streaming enabled and no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, your recordings and rights in order, and a plan for handling archives and interruptions.
What you need before you start
- A YouTube channel that is verified and has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. See YouTube’s encoder setup requirements.
- Recorded lesson files and an encoder that can play them in sequence and loop them. YouTube’s setup guide explains how to connect an encoder; it does not specify how to build a looping playlist in every encoder.
- A reliable way to keep the encoder running. A local computer depends on your power and internet connection; a hosted service runs playback in the cloud.
- Permission to use every part of the broadcast, including music, images, textbook pages, and student contributions.
Prepare the lesson playlist
Put the lessons in a deliberate order
Arrange the recordings so a viewer joining at any point can understand what is being taught. Check that the audio is intelligible, visuals are readable, and each lesson has a clear beginning and ending. Consider adding lesson titles or brief title cards between recordings, and describe the sequence or schedule in the stream description. These are production choices, not YouTube requirements.
Check permissions before broadcasting
Make sure you own or have permission to use every video and audio component. This includes background music, photographs, diagrams, textbook excerpts, and material supplied by students. YouTube’s livestream terms make the provider responsible for having the necessary rights to live content.
Connect an encoder to YouTube Live
- Enable live streaming. Verify the channel and confirm that live streaming is available and unrestricted. YouTube requires verification and no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- Create an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream using the encoder workflow.
- Copy the connection details. Copy the server URL and stream key from Live Control Room into the corresponding fields in your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your channel.
- Set up the playlist in the encoder. Add the lesson files in the intended order and enable looping or repeat playback. The exact controls vary by encoder; check its current documentation. YouTube’s guide covers the connection, not a universal playlist-loop recipe.
- Start the feed and check the preview. Start playback in the encoder, then wait for the incoming feed to appear in Live Control Room. Use YouTube’s go-live control if the setup flow asks you to confirm before viewers can watch.
- Confirm what viewers see. Check the broadcast title, description, visibility, video, audio, and transitions. A YouTube broadcast is the viewer-facing event; the stream is the incoming feed sent by the encoder. See the YouTube Live Streaming API guide for the distinction.
Choose how to keep it running
Run a local encoder
A computer at your location can play the lesson files through an encoder. You control the machine and can retain local recordings, but continuous operation depends on its power, internet connection, and the encoder staying open. Plan how you will notice a stopped feed and restart it; a home internet or power outage can take the broadcast offline.

Use a cloud encoder
A hosted encoder can play uploaded recordings without requiring your computer or home connection to stay on. Check that the service supports YouTube, playlist looping, stream-key handling, and recovery behavior before choosing it. The setup below uses StreamNeo, a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos.
Or let it run in the cloud
- Upload your Marathi lesson recording or build a playlist.
- Add your YouTube stream key.
- Go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded videos from the cloud.
Your computer and home internet do not need to stay on. Each slot streams the uploaded quality, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo does not re-encode the video. It automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card required. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is YouTube-only and plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a live camera. See StreamNeo or start the free first day.

Protect recordings and stream archives
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream that exceeds 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need an archive of every lesson or broadcast, do not rely on one uninterrupted 24/7 stream. Consider splitting programming into shorter broadcasts, keep local recordings, and check that each archive appears with the intended visibility. YouTube recommends: “We recommend recording a local archive as a backup.” See YouTube’s archive guidance.
Storage needs depend on the recordings’ resolution, bitrate, duration, and how long you retain them. YouTube does not specify a required drive capacity.

Copyright and monetization: what to expect
Live copyright checks can interrupt a stream
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If its system identifies a match, it can replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator; unresolved content can lead to interruption or termination. A licence does not always prevent an interruption: the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. See YouTube’s live copyright guidance.
An always-on schedule does not guarantee monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy, updated July 15, 2025, renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” to clarify that repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible under the existing policy. The policy identifies content with little educational value or minimal variation as examples that may not qualify. For a Marathi lesson channel, make sure recordings provide substantive instruction and explain their educational purpose. The always-on format by itself does not guarantee monetization approval or revenue. See YouTube channel monetization policies.

Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| No preview appears in Live Control Room | The encoder has not started sending, or the server URL or stream key is incorrect. | Check that the encoder is running and that both connection details match the values in the current Live Control Room stream. |
| The feed arrives but viewers cannot watch | The broadcast may still require the go-live confirmation. | Check Live Control Room and complete its go-live step if prompted. |
| The playlist stops after one pass | Looping may not be enabled, or the encoder may not support the playlist setup used. | Check the encoder’s current playlist and repeat instructions; YouTube does not provide a universal loop control for local files. |
| The feed goes offline unexpectedly | A local computer, power, network, encoder, or YouTube connection may have stopped. | Check the encoder and connection first, then Live Control Room for restrictions or notices. Set up a restart plan suited to the encoder or service. |
| A placeholder or copyright warning appears | YouTube may have detected third-party content in the live feed. | Review the notice and the rights for the matched material. If content is licensed, ask the rights holder whether your channel must be allowlisted through Content ID. |
| A long broadcast has no usable archive | Streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. | Use local recordings as backup and split the schedule into shorter broadcasts when individual archives matter. |
